  • “We loved the location of the property, being just a few minutes from the harbour.”

There were also some good areas for dog walking nearby. The residential area in which it is based seemed very nice and we met some friendly locals. Off road parking was great, nice big space. Lovely touch to have some milk and treats for us and the dog left for us on arrival. The property itself was very nice, quirky features and pleasant rooms. Great amount of space and facilities such as a dishwasher and washing machine were great. The spiral staircase is a real feature of the property but it was an issue for us with a small puppy. We were aware of it in advance from other reviews but it could be made clearer in the listing as it could also be a problem for families. A gate to block off the stairs would have been fantastic for us. The listing could also perhaps be clearer in respect of the patio area, which is at the front of the property and not enclosed.
