Excellent on every front.

Attention to detail was amazing.

Little Brook was a really sweet cottage with access to a garden and summer house.

There were some really nice little touches like a vase of fresh flowers and home baked shortbread. There were also a good selection of DVDs , books and games. The location was good with easy access to walks and tourist attractions. Overall the property was very clean but the bathroom could have done with some extra cleaning to remove mould.

This cottage is clean, comfortable and makes for a relaxing holiday.

It is ideal for exploring Dorset and Carole and Dave are on hand (if needed) with extra advice. This was our third visit and hope to visit again in the future.

What a lovely cottage!

We had everything we needed, and our hosts were very nice. They gave us advice on where to eat - The Elm Tree - and the food was delicious. The cottage was situated in a little village but within easy reach of Weymouth beach and other attractions. It had a lovely dog friendly garden which we all enjoyed. Would thoroughly recommend it.

This was a very pleasant location to stay, with a gorgeous outdoor space for the evening.

The bedroom downstairs was lovely and cool in the heatwave. Lots of things to do locally. The owners very kind and friendly - thank you for my fossil!!

What a lovely little cottage.

It was an upside down house which made the most of the view. The owners thought of everything down to the bottle of fizz in the fridge. It was delightful and I will definitely book again.

Lovely comfy bed, a good base to explore the beaches and coves.

Sadly we didn’t really have the weather for it, but you can’t have everything, I’d like to come back later in the summer though for sure

We enjoyed our stay very much.

The owners were very friendly and helpful and made us very welcome with some lovely treats. The cottage was excellent clean and well equipped . The enclosed garden was ideal for our dog and we sat out in the garden house. It was well situated for going to different places of interest.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent 7 night stay at Little Brook, nr Weymouth.

Hosts Carole and John are very knowledgeable about the famous Jurassic Coastline and helpful about other points of interest in Dorset - thank you. The Upwey rail station is nearby and offers a convenient alternative to distance driving around Dorset. We took advantage of rail services several times. Little Brook accommodation is very nicely appointed, exceptionally clean, quiet, spacious, and warm. We liked very much the upstairs window where we sat for meals. The outlook is so peaceful and green, with birds fluttering in the close-by trees. Overall, Little Brook provided everything we needed for our interesting and peaceful break away.

This was a really lovely place to stay.

I felt that the owners went the extra step to make my stay wonderful. I arrived to a Xmas tree and decorations, milk in the fridge and a some great local products. Having stayed in many places for Xmas this was the first time I had this. It made the cottage feel Christmassy and lovely to be in.

The perfect hideaway for a couples break!

We loved this lovely cottage, it’s the cleanest cottage we have ever stopped in and so welcoming and cosy. The decor was really tasteful and the cottage has been renovated beautifully. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, a bonus as we like to cook. Although it’s only a short jaunt to Weymouth or the other costal areas it felt very quiet and private. The gardens are lovely and I spend an incredible amount of time watching the birds from the arch window. Carole and John made us feel very welcome and we really appreciated the wine and home made cake! We couldn’t have wished for more, and we will certainly be returning at some point. We also really appreciated the little touches like fresh flowers, nice hand soap and thick fluffy towels. It’s a 10 from us, thank you.

It was the cleanest holiday property we've been to for years!

We loved it. Quiet location, comfortable, warm, well equipped, reasonable price. A lot of places to visit nearby. As far as the property is concerned we'd go again.

Another stay in this perfect cottage.

Always clean and welcoming with everything you need to make your stay complete. The fresh flowers in the lounge and the little vase in the bedroom are a special touch, along with the chocolates and wine. Carole and John are very welcoming, but not at all intrusive. Little Brook cottage is adjacent to their home and is ideally situated for exploring in and around Weymouth.

Just the step from the bathroom to the bedroom they are rather high and blend in to the tiles when you walk down so you cannot see the step there is a pir light but that makes it worse it looks like no step.

I had a nasty fall and hurt my arm quite badly. And the double step by the front doorway is hard to navigate. But apart from that the attention to detail was perfect a high class property. The owners were great as well

This little cottage is a gem.

Its set in a hamlet and is so peaceful and quiet, brilliant place to explore from. The owners go over and above to help you out. It has everything you need for a chilled holiday. Fabulous.

Lovely cottage, John an Carole are super hosts, the secure garden is a bonus for the dogs, as you can be upstairs cooking or chilling, while the dogs play in the garden safely.

Little Brook is a lovely place to stay and is ideal for touring the area.

This is a gorgeous barn conversion in a peaceful location but only 15 minutes from Weymouth.

Really well placed to visit the coast East or West. Spotlessly clean & everything you could need for a home from home stay. Booked as a last minute break & really glad we did. Thanks to the owners for the welcome bottle of fizz, yummy biscuits & milk. The garden is also beautiful and very dog friendly as it is walled. Our whippet was very happy!!! We would stay again next time we’re in the area

To Sykes cottages l know when l booked and the date l had arranged and the full details of my booking To be informed on at least 9 occasions a couple of weeks prior to my arrival was in the least totally unnecessary or is it down to rather inaccurate computer programming!

Just returned from from our stay at Little Brook it was absolutley lovely great location for exploring Weymouth, Dorchester, West bay, Portland etc cottage was very clean and had everything you needed for your stay, our dog loved the freedom of the enclosed garden, would highly recommend,we would definately stay again.

This cottage was located on the edge of Weymouth and positioned as it was it was ideal to get to see a whole range of visitor attractions in the area.

The Cottage had good parking off road and was attached to the owners house and they were ready to assist in anyway that they could. The upside down living gave us a good view of the garden and more distant views. There were local shops within easy reach and all in all this added to the comfort and convenience of Brook Cottage.

Lovely stay in a very cosy cottage.

The location is great to get any main points of interest within 30 to 50 minutes drive. The cottage is absolutely lovely with a well maintained communal garden which was great so our 2 dogs could enjoy a bit of play after days spent sightseeing. The hosts are very welcoming making sure you have all you need during your stay. Highly recommended cottage when in Dorset and one we’ll look coming back to next time.

What a lovely place to stay.

Beautiful cottage with everything you could need. Carole and John were wonderful hosts and were on hand for any questions. Lovely quiet location but handy for local shops and supermarkets. Ideally placed to visit Weymouth, Portland, Lyme Regis and many more places. New forest is only 1hr 15mins away as is the beautiful Stourhead house and gardens which I highly recommend. We'll definitely be back.

Little Brook is a beautiful little cottage, with a surprising amount of equipment secreted inside it.

Even Henry has his own little home under the stairs. The owners are friendly and helpful, with ideas for activities in the locality. The upside-down layout makes best use of the space available. The upstairs open-plan kitchen, dining, living space is comfortable and warm, with a library of books detailing the delights of the region. The underfloor heating in the bathroom is an unexpected luxury. The enclosed garden is brilliant for dog owners. The greenhouse has a range of chairs and covers for when the sun shines. There is so much more, and probably even more than that, which we did not find in our short stay.

The cottage was superb, and the owners went above and beyond our expectations.

Little Brook is quiet, the owners are lovely as well as their dogs.

The cottage is enough for 2 adults and 2 dogs. Well equipped, bed comfortable and gardens are a delight watching the birds feeding and flitting about.

Little Brook is a lovely cottage, it’s clean, tidy, comfortable, and the decor is tasteful and well thought out, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you should need during your stay.

The garden is enclosed and safe for dogs, and consist of a neat grassed area and stone courtyard. Nottington itself is quiet with lots of walking routes to explore, with pubs and shops not too far away. Host John and Carol are friendly and welcoming, and went above and beyond in helping when we had car trouble. Can honestly say that Little Brook is one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in. The weather was rubbish though…….

Very well appointed, it had everything we needed, a nice touch was the bottle of fiz biscuits and chocolates, we had a comfortable and relaxing week quiet and peaceful.

We would book again if it was within walking distance of Pub and Shop.

...What more can I say, the cottage was very tastefully decorated for Christmas. There is everything you need, in a quiet location, but also very near the main road. Our two tiny doggies loved running around in the dog friendly garden. The owners were friendly, and knowledgeable about the local area. A great place to stay to explore Weymouth and the local area. Would highly recommend.

We chose Little Brook as we wanted a holiday in Dorset and a place that offers EV charging.

This lovely little 'upside down' cottage (bedroom and bathroom downstairs; living room and kitchen upstairs) was ideal for us. Tastefully furnished throughout and with more items than expected/listed eg microwave, Nespresso machine, hairdryer. Owners (and their dogs) were super friendly and helpful and we really appreciated all the little touches - flowers, welcome drinks/snacks. Beautiful trees and outdoor setting - it was autumn so we didn't use it, but it was lovely to look at. Out of the way, which was great as it was so quiet. Not so great when trying to get a taxi for a night out.

Having a EV car we chose this cottage for its charging option and the process was very straightforward. Beautiful enclosed garden if you have a dog. Hosts were lovely, and always available if you need any advice on places to go. We will definitely revisiting and telling our friends about it.

The Cottage was very nice it was a bit out of the way from Weymouth we had to drive but that was ok we had a car but it was £15 a day to park your car in Weymouth the cottage was quite comfortable but the bed was a bit hard and low but the owners was very helpful and hospitably and yes i would recommend Littlebrook Cottage to my friends and family.

) The interior of the property is spacious, comfortable and modern. It has all the facilities you need for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. A comfortable bed, a large shower room and a light living area upstairs. We found the EV charger very convenient and saved us time in not having to search for public charge points. It is in a quiet area at the rear of the owners house and there is a small private garden to enjoy the evening sun. One of the best cottages we have stayed in.

We had a lovely stay in Dorset last week.

A truly super cottage with a lovely garden in a beautiful country setting. Our hosts were fantastically helpful suggesting places to visits and walks for us and our dog. The cleanliness was excellent, well furnished and equipped and a very comfortable bed! It was all in such good condition that you would think the cottage was almost brand new.

The cottage has been a wonderful find on Sykes and the owners couldn't gave been more friendly. The cottage was very well set out and comfortable. The dogs loved the large walled garden. We would highly recommend the cottage. It is in an ideal area to explore the wonders of Dorset. You won't be disappointed if you book at a stay.

Beautiful cottage with friendly hosts.

We visited with our reactive dog, who was able to play ball in the secure garden safely. He also got his own bowl and welcome jar of treats :) and we were able to chill in the huge garden, have a BBQ and unwind. The cottage is beautifully decorated with pictures and paintings of Dorset region, and host's home made cookies were a slice of heave As for practicality, it's well stocked and had EV charger, 7kw with AC plug. So car was full in the morning.

A lovely little upside down place in a quiet rural location, but only a couple of miles into Weymouth.

Hosts greeted us and were very welcoming. A nice bottle of wine in the fridge was an added bonus.

Little Brook Cottage is a lovely place to stay.

It's beautifully furnished and decorated and so cosy too, probably due to the walls being about 15 inches thick! It's well placed to get to all of the local attractions too. Even though it's in a peaceful location at the edge of a quiet village, it's only a couple of minutes from the main road. We really enjoyed our stay and so did our greyhound.

Everything you needed in a beautiful setting. A lovely relaxing space to come back to each evening. The enclosed garden for the dog to run round in was perfect. John was the perfect host and there when needed. The wine and biscuits were much appreciated as were the fresh apple straight from the tree. We had a much needed stress free week. Thank you.

This is the most wonderful of properties!

The cottage is very well equipped and even has a Nespresso machine and excellent WiFi . Everything was spotless and beautifully decorated, a real home from home . The on site owners Carole & John are a wonderful couple and are on hand if needed but certainly not intrusive. They can offer top tips on local attractions and the best fish and chip shops . We will be returning for sure .

Lovely cottage in a convenient location to visit the Jurassic Coast.

The cottage has all the amenities required for a home from home stay. We cooked most nights at the cottage and found we lacked nothing to do so. The enclosed garden was lovely for our elderly Labrador who enjoyed the company of John and Carole’s own Labradors and visiting daughters dog. The owners were helpful and gave many options of places to visit. They were available but not intrusive. A lovely week with excellent weather in a beautiful quiet village. I would highly recommend.

A beautiful picturesque, comfortable and well appointed cottage.

Would highly recommend it. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. It’s location is great, in the country side yet very near all amenities. The garden is beautiful and private; our two pugs loved it.

We both enjoyed our stay as did our Jack russel, the kitchen was the best we have had in our many cottages and bath room worked well, a pleasent garden was available closed for the dog and off road parking, a challenge to get in but nice to get off quite a busy road.

Only disappointment could,nt walk to a pub for a meal or drink so had to use the car ,all in all we had a great stay, but we are both late seventies now and found the stairs a challange. Many thanks to John and Carol, very friendly and helpfull. Thanks to John and Carol good luck in the years to come.

Little Brook was perfect for 2.

High spec. Lovely welcome gifts. Carole was really friendly and came to say hello and goodbye as well as seeing her in between. She even brought me a birthday gift which was very thoughtful and kind. She is very enthusiastic about Dorset which was encouraging and helpful. The cottage had lots of info and books about Dorset which were interesting and useful. Little Brook itself was in a lovely setting and very comfy. We travelled all over the County from there so it was a good location for walks, the beaches, visiting towns and villages and finishing off with a trip to Brownsea Island. We have no complaints and found Little Brook to be perfect for us.

A brilliant little cottage, ideal for two.

Dog friendly with a large fenced lawn area. The owners live on site and were very pleasant but did not interfere unduly. Be aware that access to the cottage is through narrow winding lanes with traffic calming measures.

Having a secure garden for dog to go out in was a real positive. Everything you need in a one bed cottage near the sea and when located to go East or West along the coast. Would recommend for a couple wanting a get away.
