Could not recommend this beautiful place more.

Very clean and had all the amenities that we required. Just a stones through from the harbour of which the atmosphere of s truly electric . It’s like stepping back in time to when we all now how to enjoy ourselves. Will definitely be returning in near future 10/10

This is our second year in Weymouth and whilst this cottage was much cleaner than the other it still falls short.

Virtually no worktop in the kitchen due to the long wall units that sit on the worktops. The wall units could have been shorter as they are full of useless crockery items. No microwave in the kitchen. Need one on hand. There is too much furniture in the lounge if there are 4 people. The rocking chair is not required as it takes up too much space. Two long bench coffee tables and a large padded footstool eat up any space. Difficult for 4 people to watch the small tv. Bedrooms need wardrobes instead of a few hooks and lots of chairs. Bathrooms are the best feature but in need of paint. General decor is weird. At costal holidays you want nice coastal scenes on the walls and not the drab and odd things that are on the walls. There are damp patches on the walls and ceilings and there is a distinct smell of damp. Owners/Sykes description of the place is a bit over the top. It is a bit drab and not totally clean with poor kitchen facilities. Cleaning of the property is not the best. Don't think the cleaners actually like cleaning or don't really know what 'clean' is. On the positive side the towels were nice and the parking is ok as the pay car park is only a few metres away. The harbour restaurants and bars are good with lots of choice and the beach is really good with a good section for dogs. would like to go again but not sure we can trust Sykes now after last years visit and this visit.

Lovely cottage,everything you could want is there, great showers and wi,fi, position is superbly placed to explore Weymouth.

We had a great time.

We had a very enjoyable short break in this interesting cottage.

It was clean and tidy with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It was easy to get to from the train station and there were lots of places to visit in the local area.

It is a lovely house in a good location.

Lovely attention to detail on the whole. Fairly dog friendly but we had some difficulty due the downstairs rooms having no doors and so we had to get something to make a dog gate as our dogs usually sleep in the kitchen at night and no way to stop them wandering into living room and getting on sofas etc while we slept. Also the pub up the road has noisy customers who stand outside and come past the front door being noisy at odd intervals which can unsettle the dogs or wake up people. (No problems with noise from the other pub, the Boot) Very well equipped but could do with a net curtain on front window downstairs as people walk past and look in. Plentiful hot water and good heating. Would recommend as lovely little house !

Really lovely stay and perfect location for getting to the harbour and beach within minute Very simple to get to and managed to park our car for the whole week free of charge.

The only issue we had was no high chairs and no option to rent them which really caused a faff with our 9 month old twins for feeding time! Maybe one in the cupboard would be useful. Other than that a really lovely home to visit Weymouth!

Lovely cottage.

Perfect location for town centre and quayside. Very clean and good value for money. Some fittings slightly worn, hence to 4* overall. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely cottage would use again perfect spot for the town, is quiet considering being close to town we were lucky only had to pay for parking for 3 hrs on our stay, can imagine high season when busy you might need to factor more and the extra cost into your stay, having the carpark close as back up to the outside parking is great

Property is in a lovely location and is comfortable and modern with all the appliances you need for a break.

I will certainly use again when returning to Weymouth

Dreadful.

Dirty, poorly maintained ( plaster coming off wall) extension leads everywhere ( fire and trip hazards) received a partial refund. Not enough. Never again

The property was nice and clean the kitchen was well equipped.

Close to harbour and town. However it was disappointing not to have a manual with internet access, this was resolved by contacting the owner. It was also disappointing not to have basic TV channels, even after they sent someone to sort it. There was Disney and Netflix but no sign in details, we started to watch a series on Netflix, but then couldn't get on to it as it said the TV wasn't signed in.

Ideally located to walk into town or the Harbour area (3-4 min walk).

The house was very clean and tidy, all linen and towels provided and were lovely and fresh. The staircases are quite steep and tall for anyone with mobility issues and stairs are wooden so dogs may struggle if they are used to sleeping upstairs (ours had to sleep downstairs as tried the stairs and got scared lol! When leaving the property either towards harbour (lower level) or walk up the hill there are two grass areas for pets to have a relief break. Pub opposite good for drink of an evening before heading into Harbour area. Parking we were lucky enough to get parked outside but there is a good size car park metres away by the pub at the end of the road, get the app and its very reasonable to pay and park there. All in all we would 100% stay here again and loved the house!

Fabulous cottage with everything needed for our long weekend trip.

Well equipped kitchen, and very comfy bed. Perfect location in the heart of Weymouth harbour, a short walk to Weymouth beach and town. Plenty of restaurants and pubs on the doorstep. Bit of noise from the two pubs either end of the road but overall a perfect place to enjoy all of what Weymouth and the surrounding area has to offer. Would definitely recommend, thank you. Ps… A must visit is the Crab House Cafe, Portland Road… Oyster farm on site which were amazing!

The house was in a good location with the beach a twenty minute walk away.

The beds were comfortable and everything we needed was there. The courtyard was small and we felt it needed some TLC. The stairs are steep so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. The street can be noisy and parking a bit hit and miss. There are no doors downstairs so no enclosed area for the dog to sleep. Luckily she didn't climb the stairs. The holiday company was helpful.

Great position, interesting property, every facility we needed, comfortable beds, warm, light and cosy.

Loved the stair lights! We didn't find the microwave in the understairs cupboard until we were leaving, and we couldn't work out how to operate the hob, but we had a great time and would stay again.

Great location easy walk into town centre.

House was as described and very well equipped although stairs would not be suitable for elderly or people with limited physical ability. Parking was very hit and miss on the street, but car park was close by. Could maybe do with a little maintenance in courtyard before the summer and a bin for the rubbish to be stored. Overall very good stay. Office very helpful when we needed them. Would return again when visiting weouth.

We found the holiday cottage to be perfectly positioned for easy access to the centre of Weymouth and shops.

It was very well laid out with everything you'd need for your family holiday. Everything was as if it was home from home and would highly recommend friends and family staying.

The house itself was perfect.

The only thing we’d like to suggest is having a door latch on the bedroom would have been good to stop the dogs from coming up. Also it would have been nice to have a prettier courtyard but apart from that, we loved it there. Fantastic location, lovely facilities. Very comfy bed and we had a lovely stay. Would definitely use it again for sure.

It was a lovely place we are thinking of booking again the only problem for me was the stairs I feel they could do with another hand rail up onto right hand side going up and around to landing because it didn’t feel safe but apart from it was amazing

Lovely home, all facilities provided.

Nicely decorated. Tea & coffee packets with biscuits made a warm welcome. All cleaning materials provided. Very loud with passers by but no traffic. Shower on top floor scalding. Blind cord in living room tricky to open/close. Close to beach, harbour and town. Bedrooms comfortable. We had an enjoyable stay. TV needs you to log into your own channel accounts which we didn’t do but access to Channels was frustrating. Weather always impacts a trip but obviously out of everyone’s control.
