A lovely place to stay.

The property has everything you need just like your home. Situated in a quiet area with wonderful views of the sea and countryside. The garden is a lovely place to sit. From there you can look over wonderful views of the sea and fields. The owners are lovely people and next door if you need anything.

This was our second visit to this lovely compact holiday home.

Great location. Fabulous garden with superb views and plenty of space. Looking forward to going back next year.

Everything you could need for a lovely holiday

This is a beautiful property, everything you need is there and it is all doen very tastefully.

It was a pleasure to spend time in the area an dthere was lots to see and do and getting back was heaven, lovly outdoor space with very good views.

We have just stayed at Blue Waters, Weymouth for a week, and such a lovely place, very clean and very well layed out and decorated!

Lovely decking and well kept garden looking down through RSPB Lodmoor and Weymouth then out to sea, and all unoverlooked! Thanks to Suzy and Rob (and Yollo) for the friendly welcome along with any help and advice (and drink..!) made our time there all the more enjoyable. Would stay again and definitely recommend you visit!

A superb cottage.

Probably the prettiest I’ve ever stayed in and astonishingly thoughtfully equipped. We absolutely loved it, it's immaculately clean and the view is gorgeous. Suzy and Rob, the owners, are really lovely people and staying in Blue Waters was a true delight. I cannot recommend it more highly, a beautiful, beautiful cottage.

What can you say but a brilliant property.

The owners were very helpful and very polite. Eleven years with Sykes and this was by far the best one we have visited . The decor was outstanding and very colourful. The views from the cottage were brilliant. This is why I have rated it five stars.

Suzy and Rob have created an ideal holiday home.

It is very tastefully decorated, all the amenities that you could ever need, the location is next to none with outstanding views, a beautiful private garden and they are always there for you if you should need anything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay at Blue Waters again.

A perfectly holiday stay in a great in a location.

The home itself is a great size for a couple. I always look for a property with a king size bed as we are accustomed to one, so that was great and when you add that view, then what’s not to love! Kitchen had everything you need and more, again big tick as we like to cook. The barbecue area is lovely and so thoughtfully set up ready with coals, matches, candle and even insect repellent wipes (which we didn’t need). They really did think of everything. The location is ideal, within a 5 minute walk of the nature reserve and 10 mins down to the seafront. Good position too to drive and see more of the surrounding areas. We visited many, but our top recommendation would be Brownsea Island, Poole about an hours drive away. A great holiday, big thanks to the owners.

A wonderful holiday home.

Suzy and Rob were great and their little dog adorable. Everything you could need and more was there for us after a long trip. Will be back when visiting Weymouth again. The view is wonderful.

The accommodation is spotless and beautifully appointed with such attention to detail.

Two coffee makers, teabags, milk in the fridge, bottle of bubbly with two glasses, even a pair of binoculars, made us feel like very welcome. The space is just perfect for two people. Very private with its own patio area where you can sit and enjoy stunning views. It's elevated location looks out across the sea and overlooks the Lodmoor Bird Reserve (a bird watchers paradise!). We spent a lovely week watching all the comings and goings at the Bird Reserve, saw Herons, Egrets, Sandwich Terns to name but a few. Lots of lovely walks nearby. Also drove to Lyme Regis and took the train to Poole and then a ferry to Brownsea Island. Another stunning bird reserve owned by the National Trust. Weymouth itself is a short drive from the accommodation although you can also walk to to via a nearby path that cuts through the nature reserve (25 min). Lots of good restaurants, lovely harbour area and a beautiful sandy beach. A most enjoyable stay and hope very much to return one day. The owners, Suzy and Rob, who live next door, are very friendly and helpful if you need anything.

Lovely property in great location, no hesitation in recommending

The owner has shown much imagination and flair into the decorating and furnishing of the cottage and it has the bonus of cleverly designed and delightful garden with magnificent views over RSPB Lodmoor to the bay.

The cottage is immaculate, very well equipped and comfortable with everything guests could possibly need. Very strongly recommended.

This property is an absolute treasure.

For a small house it has been really well designed and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The design of the building is very clever and all the ‘rooms’ have been fitted in perfectly and carefully decorated. The bedroom with the comfy 6’ bed is wonderful and the bathroom is fab. All that as well as wonderful views across to Portland, super outdoor decking, garden and seating areas and a parking space made for a great week (despite the not very summery weather we had).

A beautiful property with everything thought of.

Great location too for walking to the beach, town and local nature spots. Thoroughly recommend.

A lovely house, good location for walking into Weymouth

LOVED IT

The property was as described.

Clean comfortable and in a quiet location. The views over Weymouth and the water meadows were a bonus. Very bright aspect and having an electric awning meant the room was kept cool. A superking size bed felt like home from home and quite an unusual find in a holiday cottage. All-in-all a great property and have no quarms in recommending it

What a little Gem!

This is one of the best holiday cottages I have ever stayed in.

It was spotlessly clean and decorated to a very high standard with lots of homely touches. Comprehensively equipped, a sunny garden and great views - it was perfect. Suzy and Rob, the owners, were very friendly but not intrusive. I thoroughly recommend it.

The property is immaculate in terms of its facilities and cleanliness.

It has beautiful views south across the nature reserve to Weymouth Bay, and west over the fields to the setting sun. The owners have put outside chairs, tables etc to take good advantage of both of these views and there is an awning to give shade from the afternoon sun, and an outside seat to swing on! It is possible to walk through the fields and by the side of the nature reserve to Weymouth Esplanade, without having to walk along the roads that you drive in to the property. Some lovely countryside for a drive to the north and east and for places to visit, like Lulworth Castle and Athelhampton Manor. All in all excellent for a weeks stay.

What a truly exceptional place.

An idyllic location, superbly well-equipped, with so much thought, time, care and attention put into creating this holiday home, a little treasure and such a lucky find. There is a lovely view of the nature reserve and the sea beyond which can be seen from both the downstairs and the upstairs. The little 'extras' were also a pleasant surprise and very welcome.

The attention to detail was superb and the owners who live next door were very friendly and welcoming, and provided everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We would definitely use this holiday home again in the future.

Blue water was the perfect bolt hole for us-being ideally situated on the outskirts of Weymouth, very quiet and private with amazing views from both downstairs and upstairs.

Every comfort has been considered both inside and out- it was well equipped with quality fittings and equipment, decorated and furnished to a high standard and was spotlessly clean. It was a real pleasure to arrive, stay and return to each evening where, after busy days we were happy to chill out. Equally, many restaurants and supermarkets were only a short drive away. Many thanks to Suzy and Rob who were the perfect hosts, on hand if needed but otherwise considerate of our privacy. Would love to return later in the year to relax, make use of the outside space and enjoy the sun and views.

Fully and comfortably kitted out for two people. We certainly had no complaints or found anything missing that we needed. The owner next door was lovely. Had there been anything we wanted we are sure she would have provided it. The views south especially from upstairs are stunning. Unfortunately due to the weather, what do you expect in February (clearly not the fault of Blue Waters!) the adjacent paths into the countryside and down to the Nature Reserve were out of bounds without decent wellies. Something for next time. And we will be back.

Wonderful views across the bay Modern well designed facility for two.

Great for walking to Weymouth centre and along the coast. The bird reserve made an interesting attraction and provided a sound track of calling geese.

Only one little thing missing no pan trivet was not sure where to put hot pan but everything else was fantastic what a superb place and holiday amazing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Waters.

The holiday home has fantastic views and is beautifully fitted out with everything you could possibly need. It has been decorated to a very high standard, is pristine throughout and is decorated with some really lovely art works. There are several spaces for sitting out in the garden although unfortunately the weather wasn't really good enough while we were there to do so. The owners had provided some food and drink items which was a wonderful welcome touch and it felt like our holiday started the minute we arrived, as well as making us feel at home.

The owners Rob and Suzy obviously take great pride and it shows through - it was beautiful, spotlessly clean and full of thoughtful touches. Everything we needed including a useful kitchen, local guides, boardgames, Tassimo coffee machine which even had the pods supplied...I could go on. Bed super comfortable and a great shower room. The cottage is perched up on a hill overlooking Weymouth and very close to some beautiful walks through a wildlife nature reserve. It is a good walk into town so if you have to be in the thick of it you should look for somewhere else. But if you don't mind somewhere a bit tucked away, this place is an absolute gem. Thanks again, we will be back!

Beautifully clean and lovingly decorated.

Friendly host. Extra welcome touches, biscuits, milk, coffee, tea etc. Stunning views and tranquil setting. Easy walk to beach and town through countryside.

Following the very accurate detailed instructions which take you through winding roads of interesting modern houses, you reach your own parking space.

Easily finding the key you enter a well kept, surprisingly secluded, garden with magnificent views. The grass is so well manicured it doesn't look real. Touch it. It is. The well equipped house with its interesting art works fulfils the initial promise. It is compact but feels spacious and the double doors open onto the decking. There is a view which is over a RSPB reserve and reaches down to the sea. It feels as if you are out in the countryside. Your hostess, Suzy, is welcoming and helpful but does no intrude on your privacy. This is a real home from home, light, airy, well equipped. A pleasure to be in.

Lovely private garden with a sea view and an easy walk across a nature reserve into town. The owners next door were very friendly and made us feel most welcome - the cottage is an absolute credit to them. I would definitely recommend this as a brilliant place to stay for 2 people.

New entrepreneurs in the holiday letting business.

They are off to a most excellent start. First class accommodation and facilities, all spotlessly clean. The premises is a good size for just one bedroom. It is particularly pleasant to have a really comfortable bed and great shower room on the second floor with living room and kitchen underneath, both having brilliant views out to sea overlooking an RSPB wetland area across to the quietest end of Weymouth Beach and Portland from both levels. Good indoor furniture, equipment and kitchenware in addition. Clearly, much care, thought and clever design has gone into the design and decoration of the new premises, creating a lovely ambiance. Outside, was a reasonably sized attractive, landscaped garden with three separate areas in which to appreciate views, including decking and a gazebo. It was a joy to stay there with Rob and Suzy, truly lovely and hospitable people. We have firm intentions to return at some stage.
