The Loft @ No36

Excellent stay again great location with the added bonus of car parking this is the 3rd time we have stayed in this apartment and will be back again

We booked a little last minute and after a 12 hour drive down to Dorset from Scotland we were grateful for a comfy bed!

The apartment was well appointed and modern, and very comfortable. We had everything we needed and having a washing machine was great. The location is good, close to the harbour and just across from the beachfront and perfect for a few days away. Yes it’s up three flights of stairs but they are carpeted and well lit. The car parking is a massive bonus, just be aware of restrictions for pedestrians if you want to go out between 10am-5pm, personally we didn’t have an issue. Lots of little cafes, restaurants and bars nearby if you don’t want to cook and lots to see and do. Good communication from the rental company and the lovely welcome pack with local produce was a really nice touch. The apartment was clean, my only criticism it is the same with all rentals, in that the skirting boards and table lampshades always get missed when dusting or vacuuming, thankfully, Henry was on hand. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed in many Dream Cottage properties in Weymouth always found these properties to be a little expensive but second to none you want for nothing.

The Loft @ No 36 was faultless can't think of a thing I would change excellent location very clean just right for 2 people.

The Loft was perfect for me.

I was travelling alone so it’s comfortable for one person and probably suitable for a couple for a short stay. The location is excellent and close to everything. There are sea views, and the harbour and town are walkable. Parking is available and car not needed. I had some lovely walks from the doorstep. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

A lovely property in a very convenient location.

It is bijou but is very well equipped and plenty big enough for two. The private, secure car park is a bonus being so close to the seafront. Previous reviews suggested that the light on the stairwell is a problem but we weren’t bothered by it. It is a motion sensor triggered light so if the bedroom door is closed at night it isn’t really a problem. Would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

To further enhance the apartment, a blackout blind over the window to the landing would be great.

Unfortunately, the external stair \ landing light continually goes on and off. We had to cover it with some black bin bags. Apart from that, it was a great stay. We have already recommended it to friends.

Overall the loft was amazing however if I could give just one recommendation it would be regarding the window into the stairwell.

It needs a blind or something as the light randomly comes on all night long and you have to shut the bedroom door which prevent me airflow on hot nights. Overall an amazing place to stay and great having the secure parking.

Great location on the seafront with a lovely view.

We enjoyed a very relaxing stay with good restaurants close at hand and the advantage of secure parking for the car. The welcome box of goodies was much appreciated and having an M&S food hall within a short walk was convenient.
