Great location, free parking, great little cottage with everything you need.

The little hamper is a nice little touch.

This is a lovely little property and our second stay there.

It caters for a lot of what you may need for cooking etc. It would be great if there was also an airfryer. The only thing I noticed was the same as last year the carpets on the stairs and bedroom is looking really tired. This also applies to the rug and mats. Other than this the place and location is great.

We have stayed with sykes various cottages over the years always Great cottages Goliath is a perfect place to stay not to far from the Harbour & beach

Wonderful location.

Parking is a bonus. Just 1 little niggle ( this is picky): mattress was too soft for our liking. We would definitely come back please.

Well equipped cottage with lovely layout and had everything we needed to make our holiday easy from the start.

Would have preferred more comfier outside seating but atleast there was something to sit on.

What a beautiful place to stay , accommodation was amazing and just around the corner from harbour where you’ve got plenty of places to eat and plenty of little shops .

I would definitely stay here again in the near future if I get the chance

We have stayed in Goliath several times and always looked forward to staying there.

Everything you need is in the cottage. Perfect location, nice easy walks into town, the fort and Newtons Cove. Will definitely be going back.

Goliath cottage was lovely, perfect for what we wanted.

Close to the town and harbour. The welcome pack was such a lovely touch. I couldn't have asked for more and a great price for our 6 night stay.

This was our second Xmas stay in this accommodation & we enjoyed our stay so much we re booked for Xmas 2026.

Goliath is located adjacent to the harbour & town so everything in the town can be easily reached on foot. It is well equipped & has everything you need for a self catering break, welcome basket with milk is great. Only points to raise the TV is not the easiest thing to use & the secure key lock has seen better days had to spend about 15mins to get it to open,. Andrew & Kim

Perfect accommodation and location.

Many walks straight from the mews cottage. Well appointed and a very comfortable bed. Only downside was not having Netflix or catch up on the television ! Would definitely recommend.

The cottage has everything you need and parking is very secure for one vehicle.

The location to the town is absolutely excellent and worth staying there for that alone. Recommended!

Showed us another of their properties "Nuke ' which we have now booked for the Pirate weekend in October 2026. Goliath 5* accommodation. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise, with a pint of milk in the fridge too. We we are looking forward to coming back next year!

We have stayed in Goliath several times and every time we have really enjoyed our stay.

Goliath has everything you need for a great stay. Great location, everything is in walking distance from the cottage. On arrival there is milk in the fridge and a lovely little hamper, a very nice touch. Will definitely return again.

One of the best cottages we stay in,close to all amenities,undercover and secure car parking,very clean and comfortable,everything you need for self catering.

It was a beautiful property, tastefully furnished and well equipped, Lovely having secure parking and being close enough to walk into Weymouth.

Lovely welcome pack, one of the best we have seen, It was sad we could only let the dog out on a lead but she was so small she could have got through the bars of the gate,minor problem.Would suggest a stairgate at bottom of the stairs,she was up there every time we turned our backs stealing socks. Would stay again it was so nice not like some we've been to before this was lovely and the bed really comfy.

Lovely accommodation and close to the town/facilities but noisy due to the proximity of the road.

Returned after the third visit and cannot fault the Goliath and the surrounding area

A lovely lovely holiday property,with everything you need.

A big bonus parking and on top of all the attractions in Weymouth. We have just had a brilliant week and the weather was just what we wanted. Always check out the attractions around Weymouth we had some lovely days out.

Excellent holiday property, small but cosy and containing everything you could want for a holiday.

The property is safe, secure and perfectly situated for all Weymouth has to offer, there is a lot of redevelopment going on in the local vicinity but it did not affect our holiday. A small problem with the booking process could not be sorted with the Sykes systems over the phone or internet but a quick visit to Dream Cottages' office nearby was dealt with quickly and easily to my satisfaction.

Very pleased, only downside was mattress on bed far too soft, the cottage is very clean has everything you need, small but ideal for 2, walking distance to harbour, pubs and shops

We have stayed at the cottage before and absolutely love it.

Our only concern is if there was a fire downstairs how would you get out. Apart from that we love Goliath.

Very pleased with the property - ideal location with easy access to harbour & town centre.

The kitchen is well equipped with all the utensils needed. The cottage was spotlessly clean & the welcome pack was much appreciated. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked the same property for Christmas next year. Couple of things to mention - the shower Matt was not very clean and the parking bay was a bit cluttered with 3 bins only one of which for Goliath - parking bay could do with line painting on the floor to clearly mark out each parking space as at times the car in the next space was very close to our parking bay probably due the materials left in the parking area. Lovely cottage in great location.

Sofa is a bit small and not too comfy but was OK for a weeks stay. Other than that couldn't fault it.

2nd time at the Goliath and completely satisfied all was as expected from our first visit.

Only a small property but well thought out but being tall the bathroom can be a bit of a problem but just remember to watch your head. The kitchen has all equipment you require and the lounge has plenty of space for a couple and a dog to sit in comfort also the bedroom was large enough and a comfortable bed

The quality and location of the property exceeded our expectations.

It was absolutely immaculate and beautiful. I honestly cannot find one single negative comment to make. The location is superb being a 3 minute walk to the harbour and situated within a secure gated courtyard with parking right outside which was really great.We will be back.❤️

Great location - short easy walk into Weymouth.

The property is ideal for two people and the location near the harbour is excellent, two minutes and you are on the bustling waterfront. Possibly add a fan in the bedroom?

What a beautiful little place Goliath is!

So clean and modern, every little thing you may need has been thought of! Our own parking space in the gated courtyard was brilliant especially with it being so close to the harbour which is literally a 2 minute walk away. Love Weymouth, loved this beautiful little place, we will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at Goliath.

Great location, very close to the harbour and Nothe Fort, so lovely walks from the doorstep. Spotless property and brilliantly equipped. Absolutely no complaints at all! We were very happy there. The heating and hot water failed on us on boxing day morning which was just one of those crazily timed things. It was sorted and back on within 2 hours of us reporting it, so we were really pleased with the response to this, thank you!

It was a lovely holiday the weather was good and the property was above excellent would certainly stop there again

Lovely property to stay in.

Nice and clean. Kitchen is very well kitted out with equipment, bed is comfortable. Lovely to stay so close to the harbour and in a gated property. Local pubs are great and dog friendly.

We stayed in this property last year and I said then how fabulous it was, spotlessly clean, perfect location and great secure parking.

My only criticism was the lack of a chest of drawers to store jumpers etc in the bedroom. There is now a small hanging fabric storage unit in the wardrobe but this is so small it doesn't really help much. Otherwise we LOVE this property.

A lovely little gem close to all the amenities all in walking distance we had everything we needed within Goliath the car was safe with the security gate’s,and perfect weather and the welcome hamper and milk was very much appreciated.

Fabulous property and superb location.

Enjoyed stay ,nice welcome hamper,lovely touch. Only minor gripe was workmen working on property next to us at 7.45 in morning, other than that a fantastic stay. Recommended.

This property was advertised as 2 bathrooms we were disappointed to find it only had 1,other than that the property was clean and comfortable very close to beach and other amenities.

Goliath in Weymouth was an ideal location for couples and was a short walk to the harbour and the town.

It was also very secure to park your car.

Very tastefully furnished and decorated.

We think it was Next and Dunelm, a welcome change from some of the old furnishings we have had in the past. Also a decent flat screen tv, a small horrible tv puts us off a property immediately. Parking under cover was brilliant. Location, walking distance to town we loved. Only slight criticism we had was uncomfortable seating area outside. which we didn’t use, but you can’t have everything.

We had stayed in this part of Weymouth previously so knew the location was good.

This was perfect accommodation for a couple. The cottage was beautifully maintained to a very high standard and had everything we need for our stay.

The cottage is in a perfect location with everything close by but away from the hustle and bustle of the harbour in a gated area with undercover parking. The cottage itself is a clever design, in great condition and has every facility you need. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Totally recommend.

Lovely property for a couple, beautifully decorated and equipped, and we appreciated the excellent welcome pack!

The only problem we had was the very tight front door - it took a very hard push to open!

Me and my husband haven't been away on out own for years, this was the perfect week away to celebrate our wedding anniversary, the cottage was beautiful and did not disappoint, it had everything we needed for our week away, the neighbours were friendly and pleasent and the location was perfect, We will definitely be booking this again.

The property is small but has everything you need.

Recently fitted out everything is new and clean. Car parking is great, secure behind gates to the mews. The location is second to none being two minutes walk from the harbour and the facilities there and the location provides a great base to explore further. Didn't know quite what to expect of Weymouth but it's good. We went slightly out of season but there was still plenty open. Would go again

Lovely place to stay

Goliath is an absolutely beautiful holiday cottage.

Ideally situated with a less than 5 minute walk to Hope Square and the harbour and the secure private parking is an absolute bonus. The cottage itself is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The only slight improvement I could suggest would be the addition of a chest of drawers in the bedroom as trying to fit underwear, teeshirts, jumpers etc into the small drawers in the bedside cabinets is quite challenging. Otherwise we absolutely loved the place and would definitely stay there again.

Very nice property as described, and excellent location.

Only criticism, is that we would have expected the towels and linen to be changed for the second week.

Golliath property was perfect. Location to Weymouth harbour and all the bars and restaurants was excellent.

We enjoyed our week's holiday at Golaith.

The property was clean, well equipped (specially the kitchen) and comfortable. The location was good and so close to attractions and amenities.

Goliath was exactly as described.

It had everything necessary for a great holiday. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. Undercover car parking. Top quality fixtures and fittings. A very comfortable stay perfect for a couple. Would not hesitate to book again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything about the property is just perfect - the location, the way it has been decorated and furnished, the facilities. What a treat to find everything where you need it - plugs by mirrors, coat hooks by the front door, towel / door hooks in the bathroom, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. It was made even better by having a car parking space - priceless in Weymouth ! We shall look forward to staying at Goliath again. Thank you.

Everything about this property - and its location was perfect.

The property is only small, being a conversion of one of the old brewery stables (previously home to the shire horse - Goliath) - but everything is so thoughfully designed and laid out, and with such attention to detail that it had with everything that we needed. Very comfrotable, clean and cosy. The location was also perfect. It was our first visit to Dorset and we loved it - Weymouth is such a lovely seaside town and the cottage is only a few minutes walk from the old harbour area with so many historic points of interest - and close to pubs, restaurants, shops and green spaces. We did not want to leave - and look forward to returning in future.
