  • “The location is great, however, some of the residence that live in the building are very unwelcoming and made us feel uncomfortable!”

The lady with the dog was lovely though. The beds could also be made more comfortable as they were very hard and perhaps just need new softer mattresses or mattress toppers. There was someone else's make up left behind the desking table (which was pulled forward away from the wall when we arrived) in the main bedroom, I can only assume it belonged to the previous holiday maker, along with something else left on the window sill which made me question how well the room had been cleaned if not ...

There was someone else's make up left behind the desking table (which was pulled forward away from the wall when we arrived) in the main bedroom, I can only assume it belonged to the previous holiday maker, along with something else left on the window sill which made me question how well the room had been cleaned if not spotted by the cleaner? I had to move the bedside tables in the twin room to actually be beside the beds and then there was only a bulb in one of the two lamps and that only worked if you pushed the bulb down! Twin room is a little unwelcoming compared to the rest of the apartment! I would use frosting on the windows to hid the ugly view of the car park and wall and give more privacy while still letting the light in too. The tv in the kitchen wouldn't pick up anything which was disappointing and the main tv in the lounge area only picked up a few channels on freeview. It was good but could really be great with just a few little tweaks and there are lots of nice touches like outdoor games, books and puzzles. A radio in the main bedroom would be wonderful. My final comment would be to have the hedge just a couple of foot lower so that you would really enjoy that wonderful sea view from the patio. We could only just see over it right out into the distance but you would still have so much privacy from the people walking along the promenade below.

The property

Set in Greenhill, on the ground floor of a converted seafront hotel, Seascape is located in one of the most desirable spots in Weymouth.

On entering the apartment guests will appreciate the spacious and airy sitting room/dining and kitchen area, conducive to a small family or couple(s) being able to spend leisure time together and enjoying each other's company, whilst really being able to spread out.

This ground floor holiday home has an enclosed garden area, shared with the other properties in the development.

A gate from the garden opens directly onto the esplanade and the beach.

From Greenhill, Weymouth beach stretches in either direction, the choice is yours as to whether you walk towards the finer sand at the Pavilion end of the beach, or the more pebbly Overcombe end.

The award-winning Greenhill Gardens is just a few minutes' walk away and is bordered by colourful plants and winding paths.

Often, during the summer there are free open-air recitals, or a local band playing in the bandstand. The walk into the Weymouth's town centre is a pleasant ten-minute stroll along the esplanade, here you will find a good variety of shops as well as pubs and restaurants.

The Lodmoor Country Park is a leisurely five-minute walk away and the perfect spot to picnic, visit the play park, cycle or explore the footpaths.

The Sealife Centre is adjacent along with a cafe, restaurant, giant slides and go karts.

After a day at the beach, exploring Weymouth or the wider Dorset area, returning to Seascape is a pleasure where you may choose to spend the early evening on your patio with a cooling drink, overlooking the sea, warmed by the last of the sun's rays.
