“This is a lovely location on the side of a small lake.”

It is a gated community and you need a car as the nearest village is a couple of miles away. The property is very modern with cooker and dishwasher, but no microwave. It has underfloor heating which is very efficient , keeping a cosy temperature, but does take a while to warm up. The lounge is comfortable, but has just one sofa and two chairs. The property also includes access to a number of activities including an outdoor heated swimming pool, mountain bikes a spa, gym as well as a bar. ...

Set in a secure estate over hundreds of acres, Beaumont Village at Silverlake houses this fresh, modern, sustainable home which offers a unique holiday experience in the Dorset countryside.

Swan Cottage is a cosy mid-terrace cottage nestled in the heart of Beaumont Village with a view across to Beaumont Lake.

This superb property enjoys plenty of contemporary features and furnishings; a place that you and your family will be delighted to call home as you explore this part of the country.

On the first floor you will find the open-plan living area, where you can make use of the quality kitchen appliances to chef up your own delicious meals, before settling down with your partner or family at the dining table to pop open a bottle of bubbly to toast to a long-awaited holiday together.

Afterwards, relax and unwind into your evening by sinking into the sofa and flicking through the channels of the TV or spend time on the balcony enjoying an afternoon read with the sun setting over the Beaumont Lake.

Once the evening has drawn to a close, make your way to the master bedroom, where you will find a plush king-size bed that is awaiting to be curled up in after an action-packed day.

There is an adjoining balcony to the master bedroom which runs along the front of the property, where you can relax and enjoy a morning coffee, an en-suite bathroom with walk in shower and modern fitted wardrobes.

Downstairs is the main entrance with a cosy bunk room, ideal for the kids, with their own TV and cupboards.

An idyllic retreat, where you can embrace the outdoors with many onsite activities, you can also explore the hundreds of acres along private footpaths and don't forget to relax in the spa!

Guests have use of several communal facilities, including the Spa, gym and swimming pool, kayaks, paddle boarding & mountain bikes (via the Activity Hub) a barbecue, and gardens.

You won't have to go far to seek adventure; just a short drive away are the UNESCO sites of Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, the incredible work of Monkey world and all their rescued monkeys, and the breath-taking Jurassic coastal path.

The town of Dorchester is just over five miles away, offering a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as attractions such as The Keep Military Museum, the 4th century Roman Town House and the Roman amphitheatre and an Iron Age hill fort at Maumbury Rings.
