There are so many fabulous fireworks displays held each year, the only difficulty is choosing which one to go to. To help you pick the perfect display, here are our top 8.

This year, the display falls on Saturday 9th November. The laser show starts at 7 pm, fireworks at 7:30 pm.
Eat, drink and be mesmerised by the stunning display and then enjoy the live music and fairground rides. Sherborne’s display is reputed to be one of the best and biggest shows in the South West, attracting thousands of people so the atmosphere is always truly super.
One of the best spots for a bonfire and fireworks, right by East beach on West Bay. There will be fireworks, a bar, live music and burgers, all by the sea. A fantastic way to celebrate bonfire night in a quintessential English seaside setting.
This is one of the biggest events on the calendar attracting thousands of children with their families who all gather on Weymouth Esplanade to watch the huge fireworks display. Head to the Weymouth Pavilion on Tuesday 5th November as early as 3pm when the fairground opens.
Gather to watch the fireworks and Guy Fawkes competition and keep warm by standing around the beach bonfire. Watch the spectacular (and free!) international firework display over Weymouth’s beautiful moonlit bay with some lovely hot food and a tipple or two
Beach bonfire is lit at 7:40 pm and the main firework display kicks off at 8 pm, definitely not one to be missed.
For a packed night of entertainment and to get you into the seasonal spirit, this year’s event falls on Friday 5th November, offering a fantastic family-friendly environment and firework display.
There will also be a funfair, lots of stalls with food and drink and plenty of activities to keep all visitors entertained. The event starts at 5 pm which fireworks being lit at 8 pm.
The Swanage and Wareham Rugby Club is where all of the sparkly fun is at. The spectacular firework display this is not to be missed. Food, drink, live music and rides, this event will be held on Friday 5th November this year with the fun starting at 6 pm and fireworks at 8:30 pm.
The Dorchester Rugby Club is hosting their event this year on Saturday 2nd November. Kicking off at 6pm, this event promises fantastic fireworks, a hog roast, BBQ, bar and amusements. Plus a bouncy castle to keep the littlest ones entertained.
Watch the fireworks over the ‘Pearl of Dorset’ Lyme Bay in Lyme Regis. Keep warm by the fire on the beach. Held on Saturday 2nd November this year, this is always a wonderful display.
Head down to the Cobb Harbour for 6:30 pm when the mesmerising firework display commences, followed by a bonfire on the beach.
