Family Friendly Halloween events

Enter the Ascarium at Weymouth SEA LIFE Adventure Park. Take part in the interactive quiz trail to discover the Sea Witch’s potions and be rewarded for your efforts. Create and craft or create your own spell in the activity zone and discover creatures of the deep.


Spooky fun at Lulworth. Head to the castle and join in with lots of themed activities. Explore the Spooky Basement and meet Merlin the Magician. Take a wander through the woods and complete the spooky trail with your quiz book. Enjoy soft play, lawn games and creative crafts – there’s fun for the whole family.


Half Term Fun at Kingston Maurward. Go wild this half term at Kingston Maurward with a pumpkin lakeside trail. Visit the animal gardens and meet the resident animals with feeds and talks throughout the day.


Silly scary fun at the Nothe Fort. Wanda Witchway is flying in to perform her special Spookyloopy Magic Show and there’s lots of Halloween tricks and treats to be had. From crafts, ghost walks, magic shows and face painting.


Abbotsbury Gardens Family Fright Nights. Fantastic floodlight gardens full of Halloween activities. Meet the bugs and snakes…if you dare! Enjoy scary wounds surgery, scary stories and explore the witch’s coven. Fancy dress for the little ones is encouraged at this annual family friendly event.


Bonfire on the beach at West Bay. With a bar, live music and hot food stalls, the bonfire on the beach at West Bay is a fun night for all. And not forgetting the spectacular firework display that illuminates the sky in a riot of colour!


Halloween Fun Days at Mapperton House & Gardens. Enjoy a spine-chilling trail around Mapperton Gardens and visit the Witch’s Cottage with free face-painting for brave witch hunters.
