Broadchurch Fever

Every Tuesday morning it’s the talk of the office who killed Danny latimer…..

ITV’s Broadchurch has massively raised the little coastal town of West Bay profile. We have noticed a huge increase in enquries from people wanting to visit the West Dorset area and in particular West Bay.

If you are a fan of the drama you might recognise the chalet at the of the car park.  The chalet is apparently where Danny Latimer was killed in the first series.

On a lighter note! If you love the views and surroundings Siesta and Sandpiper Chalet are just down on the right. These two holiday cottages are in the tiny hamlet of Eype.

If you havent seen Broadchurch yet watch the video, it might bring you up to speed for the big finale next week. Also shows what a beautiful area it was filmed in.

West Bay is about 1.5 miles away form the market town of Bridport. There is a pretty traditional harbour and is known for good fish and chips, great pubs and local eateries.

There are two main beaches to the left and right of the harbour. West Cliff and East Cliff.

Fishing trips are available in the summer, including deep sea fishing. Boats can also be hired to row up the River Brit towards Bridport.
