“On first impressions this is a lovely comfortable ground floor flat, ans honestly location wise was brilliant.”

Ample parking with 2 spaces, meaning with one big car it was easy to navigate the tight pull in and out. The beds were a little too firm for us, but appreciate thats a personal thing, I also think the room could hold a king size bed which would have been more comfortable. The kids beds were perfect, full size singles and plenty of storage although you couldn't really use the wardrobes in the kids room as full of things. However this wasn't a problem for us and we appreciated having ...

Ample parking with 2 spaces, meaning with one big car it was easy to navigate the tight pull in and out. The kids beds were perfect, full size singles and plenty of storage although you couldn't really use the wardrobes in the kids room as full of things. However this wasn't a problem for us and we appreciated having access to a clothes horse and hoover during our stay. The bathroom could do with a bit of tlc. The shower head for the electric shower needs changing. Its dirty and not many holes actually let water out. No idea why there are effectively 2 shower options ... one electric with a short low down holder, and one that runs from the taps with a long and high up holder. That just didnt work for us. Lounge was a good size and the arm chairs were comfortable, but found the 2 seater not to be very comfortable. Kitchen, appreciated the welcome pack, especially the dishwasher tablets. However the dishwasher is old and left most of the glasses with the grubby dirt after a wash suggesting it needs a good clean. Washing machine was welcomed but left clothes smelling of mould. Ran several 90° washes to try and remove the smell but wouldnt shift. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but having been there for a full week its not somewhere we will be returning to. Instead will look at other properties in a similar location

“This little ground floor apartment is beautifully situated with college height.”

There is a very comfortable double room and a twin room and all the amenities you would need for your stay (We stayed a week). We was kindly give some essentials for the kitchen and a little welcome hamper which is a lovely touch. I personally think the property could sleep more than 4 and would be spacious enough. Parking was great, however if cars are parked opposite which are on the larger side it can her tricky to swing in and out. Overall we had a really fabulous stay and would definitely recommend.

“This is the second time weve been to this apartment.”

The position of this property is great -- 10 minute steady walk to the town centre and seafront. Easy to get onto the main roads out of Weymouth for all other routes for touring around. Only minus was the shower which was in an awkward position. The control box was in the middle of the wall with the shower head in the corner and because it is over the bath it is difficult to get under the shower but this would not deter us from visiting again.

“A good sized apartment with everything needed for a week’s stay for 2.”

The bed was comfy. The kitchen had everything to cook an evening meal. It took us a while to work out how the Tv worked. We did not see a dvd player which the listings suggested. Great location, less than 10 minutes from town. We like the Rodwell trail just down the road for a walk in the rain, also near the rspb reserve. We had a very comfortable week.

Shower is fine. Working the tv is not straight forward, needs a more modern one easier to use. Otherwise all as advertised, clean, fully equipped, warm and comfortable, close to a number of shops even for me as a disabled person.

“General cleanliness was poor throughout, dust & cobwebs in all rooms, twin bedroom had an unpleasant odour, black mould on wall near window.”

Bathroom generally clean, extractor fan not working. Kitchen - crockery, cutlery and pans dirty - had to wash them before using. Fridge stained, door seal looked dirty and off the bracket at the bottom. Washing machine door seal very mouldy.

The one thing it doesn't have is a rear garden or yard but this year it wouldn't have been warm enough to sit outside. Also if you have a big car like an estate the parking is a bit tight .

Parking as mentioned in the other comments can be an issue because of cars parked opposite . A few minor things, bathroom handle needs to be replaced as it keeps breaking ( think this has been mentioned before) and the fuse box hums constantly which is annoying when going to sleep . I think more storage for food is needed in the kitchen, there’s too much stuff in the cupboards, 50+ glasses is a bit excessive for an apartment for 4 people . But overall a nice place to stay .

“Really lovely apartment with everything you need .”

. very comfy beds too. The photo shows a large drive .. just be aware you get two spaces .. one in front of door and one to the left as you look at the property. Neighbours car and motorbike are then in front of lounge window to the right of the door. Cars from down the street are also parked all the time directly opposite nose to kerb, and on the narrow road opposite next door, which makes for a very tight space to manoeuvre onto the drive... if you have two cars to park up I imagine this would be nearly impossible as it's a tight turn off the drive through a gate. Although it advises there is no tumble dryer, there is no outside space to dry any washing so just be mindful of that. Property is in a residential area but it is very quiet. Lovely welcome pack on arrival which was most welcome, along with washing up liquid and cleaning spray. Short walk into town from the apartment. Lovely property and enjoyed our stay.

“A nice apartment, which is very cosy and warm in a very convienient location.”

Good value overall and we had a great holiday, despite comments below. Well equipped and reasonably clean although we did have to re-wash some of the pans and there were damp smelly towels left in the washing machine on arrival. The apartment has a washing machine, but there is no drier or outside space to dry clothes which limits its use. The kitchen is a little tired in places and the oven and dishwasher in particular are well used. The apartment has two parking spaces but using them is a real challenge as there were 3 cars parked nose to kerb opposite all the time we were there as well as one in the adjacent slot for the upstairs flat and gate/wall at the other side, making manoeuvring into these slots extremely difficult and it would be practically impossible to use both slots at once. Unfortunately our car (and some neighbours) was also broken into one night during the stay as well, which was rather upsetting.

There were no tea towels. no dish cloth and no bath mat. Also, the bath grab handles were missing and the fixing screws were projecting into the bath. There is a security light on an adjacent building that shines straight into the back, twin-bedded room, A black-out blind would be a useful addition to this room.

The flat was very clean and had all that was needed for the week. It would have been nice to have an outdoor seating area. Just a couple of points 1. The double bed really needs a new mattress a foam topper was on the bed so I feel they are aware of this. Sadly the bed was still uncomfortable. The hoover supplied had no suction. Apart from this we were happy and if the bed mattress was replaced we would not hesitate to book this flat again. Thank you

The property

A modern ground floor property located in the development called "College Heights" which have proven a popular location for our holiday makers to Weymouth. All on one level this well-maintained apartment is comfortable with the sitting room and dining room in one which leads into the modern kitchen.

Ideal to cook up an enjoyable dinner to then get cosy for the evening and enjoy a night in on the sofa.

One double bedroom and one twin room. Nearby to the property is the Lake nature reserve in Weymouth which is a safe haven for numerous wild birds the feeding of which offers an exciting opportunity for visiting children.

The observation tower which is hidden away by the side of the lake serves as a wonderful pastime for the serious bird watching enthusiast.

When you holiday at Bridge Apartment you can enjoy a walk by the lake and a stroll into the town which is near to the promenade and Weymouth's golden sands with its' shallow waters and picturesque bay.

The numerous shops, restaurants, coffee shops and entertainment venues within the town centre are all within walking distance of the house.

This holiday accommodation should suit all ages and is especially attractive as it is ground floor and offers the comfort of modern day living.
