    “Awful place had to ask for extra pots , the toilet upstairs and the sink kept on making loud noises in the night despite not being used affecting my guests sleep , some basic things were missing like kitchen tools had to again ask for this to be sent which to give the people managing the property did within hours of me asking.”

    The kitchen was so small no more than one person could cook in there.The property was advertised for 6 it could barely manage 4, need curtains due to sunlight entering the rooms early morning especially in the downstairs bedroom , Would not recommend at all and it was not cheap over £1400 for the week .

    Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your stay did not fully meet your expectations. We would like to clarify a few points for future guests. The kitchen size is accurately shown and described in the listing photos and description, and it is intended for light to moderate self-catering rather than multiple people cooking at once. The property is advertised as suitable for up to six guests, which aligns with the available sleeping arrangements, although we appreciate that comfort levels can be subjective. Regarding kitchen equipment, additional items were requested during your stay and were delivered within a few hours. It is also important to note that several kitchen utensils were left dirty on departure, which required extensive additional cleaning. Additionally, stained bedding was left behind, also necessitating extra cleaning before the next guests could arrive. With regard to the bathroom noise, the upstairs toilet is a macerator system, which is the only suitable option for an upstairs bathroom in this property. As is typical with macerator toilets, some noise is produced when the toilet is flushed or when the bathroom tap is running. Following your comments, the system has since been checked by a qualified electrician and confirmed to be operating correctly and without fault. As for sunlight in the downstairs bedroom, the window placement and natural light are clearly visible in the listing photos; however, we will take your comment regarding curtains into consideration for future improvements.
