The property

Just off Hope Square in the bustling harbour town of Weymouth, Dorset lies Tivoli Cottage, a beautifully-presented, three-storey holiday cottage.

With a bright and airy décor and within easy reach of local amenities and the beach, this delightful dwelling is the perfect base for a small family, a couple, or friends looking to explore this lovely coastal area.

Step inside where you can find a sitting room fit for cosying up after a day of exploring and complete with an electric fire and Smart TV for film nights.

Make your way through to the kitchen/diner, which is flooded with natural light from the Velux window and featuring chic subway tiling; here, the chef of the group can cook up a delicious dinner to enjoy at the dining table while you plan your next day out.

Climb the stairs to the first floor, which hosts a twin bedroom and a bathroom so you can get ready for another adventurous day.

Finishing off the inside of the home is a double bedroom on the second floor with charming views of the town and a glimpse of the sea in the distance.

Outside, an enclosed courtyard offers a space to enjoy the warm weather, home to a furniture set so you can take your meals al fresco.

When you’re ready to explore the area, head out on foot for a wealth of attractions including the popular Weymouth SEA LIFE centre and Alexandra Gardens, which make a fantastic day out if you are travelling with children.

Be sure to admire the views from Nothe Fort, or take a trip to the historic Isle of Portland.

Branching further afield, the Dorset Heritage Coast makes a picture-perfect day of walking with some of the most glorious views in the area.

Further afield, you may want to explore the town of Dorchester, for a selection of pubs, restaurants and you can even stop off at Thomas Hardy’s former home, now the National Trust’s Max Gate.

With so much to see and do, make Tivoli Cottage your home-from-home for your next trip to Dorset.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £250.
