“We have visited Reaver several times and it never fails to please.”

We especially appreciate the parking and the proximity to the harbour along with the comfort and the fact it is very well equipped.

We especially appreciate the parking and the proximity to the harbour along with the comfort and the fact it is very well equipped. Our only problem lay with the key box. We had no trouble opening it but we found it impossible to put the key back in and shut it, as did our neighbour. In the end we put the key through the letterbox of Dream cottages’ office, fortunately just round the corner.

The property

An attractive two bedroom, mews style cottage near Hope Square in Weymouth.

These attractive mews cottages are light, airy and tasteful in design.

Once inside the property you automatically sense the contemporary vibe with the light blues and greys of the decor.

Sit and relax with a glass of wine in the beautiful sitting room or prepare a tasty snack in the kitchen to be enjoyed with loved ones.

With two bedrooms this is the ideal holiday home for a small family or couple.

Echoes of the magnificent Shire Horses can be heard when you take a holiday at The Mews.

The garage areas are where the Shire Horses were stabled until a number of years ago.

Near to the Brewers Quay and accessed via remotely controlled electric gates, you can park your car and forget about driving throughout your memorable visit to Weymouth.

We recommend that you sample some of the mouth watering fish and gourmet restaurants along the harbourside and the fish and chips are a must!

A quiet evening stroll along the Nothe Gardens with the shadows of the lights dancing across the sea will stay in your memory through the dark winter nights. Reaver is just perfect for a small family to enjoy a holiday near the sea.

About the location

Dorchester 8.7 miles; West Lulworth 15.8 miles

Brewers Quay is the old Victorian brewery situated at the heart of the harbour, in Weymouth, Dorset. Much of the grade II listed complex and surrounding brewery buildings date from the late 1800 early 1900’s and many have stones inlaid commemorating their construction year. This area is now a popular destination with many restaurants, café and bars, creating a vibrant culture, where you can relax with a drink and watch the world go by. Tucked away down the harbourside streets, you will find original Tudor harbour buildings, estimated to have been built in 1600 and well worth a visit, with a very interesting history to share. You will also find the Weymouth Museum, with some incredible exhibitions, and the harbour is also home to the lifting bridge, where you can watch the luxury yachts head out to sea, and then walk over the bridge to the town's winding streets of boutique shops and the seafront esplanade and beach. There is more to this seaside town than meets the eye; Brewers Quay is a much-loved holiday destination in Weymouth!
