Margery “The apartment is in a prime spot with great views over the Marina and bridge.”
The bridge opens up every 2 hours, times depending on the season but never a problem. Having your own parking space on site is a bonus. I would definitely book this apartment again.

Kirsty “Wonderful home away from home.”
This is the second year in a row we booked this apartment as it was perfect for our family last year. We were not disappointed. Very well presented property. Fantastic location, central to all amenities.
- Kirsty, August 2023Dear Guest Thank you so much for choosing us again and for the great feedback. We’re delighted you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you back again in future! Property Owner
Sally “The view alone is absolutely priceless!”
Our 2nd visit. Loved it. Perfect location.
- Sally, July 2023Dear Guest Thank you so much for your fantastic feedback! We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you back again in future. Property Owner
Graham “The apartment was very clean on arrival with all the facilities and equipment we would need for our stay.”
It was very comfortable and spacious in a superb location with a splendid view. It was very nice to see that all the electrical apparatus, including adaptors had been PAT tested. We can't comment on the garage as we didn't take a car. It is a shame Town Bridge House does not have any recycling facilities. The only downside was the noise from outside although that is the price paid for the location, revellers in the early hours of the morning, Lobster fishermen slightly later and the 8 o'clock alarm from Town Bridge. That said it was the only downside and certainly liveable with.
- Graham, June 2023Dear Guest Thank you very much for your feedback, we’re so glad you enjoyed your stay. We would like to offer recycling in the future should this be an option for the apartments. Thank you for choosing our apartment and we hope to welcome you again in the future. Property Owner
Christine “Great modernised well equiped apartment in best location.”
Somewhat noisy Friday and Saturday nights. Scraped car in parking lot and we have a Toyota Yaris. Needs some more protection on edges of opening. 4pm entry too late seemed to lose a day we have paid for. Could understand during Covid.
- Christine, June 2023Dear Guest Thank you for your feedback. We’re delighted you enjoyed the apartment and setting, being near all the facilities of the town can come with some noise and we provide earplugs should guests choose to use them. We recognise parking is tight, however there is space for family sized cars. We take pride in cleanliness and provide a good amount of time between guests for cleaning and your payment covers from 4pm until checkout. We hope you will consider staying again in future. Marian “We have stayed 2 times at this property and cant fault it.”
Spotlessly clean.already booked again for this september.added bonus of secure parking and plenty to do in town.
- Marian, May 2023Dear Guest Thank you so much for your fantastic feedback, we’re delighted you’ve enjoyed your stays and have booked again! Thank you for your repeated custom, we hope you enjoy your next stay with us. Property Owner
Joan “Absolutely spotless the apartment had everything you needed could not find a single negative.”
The parking was a bonus and easily fit our large Skoda just a bit tricky to manoeuvre in but well worth it to have a private parking spot. The views were fantastic and we will definitely be returning again. Joan&Norman
- Joan, April 2023Dear Guests Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. We’re delighted you enjoyed your stay and would love to welcome you back in future! Property Owner
Hugh “We had a great time in the apartment everything we needed, hope to book again in December, 10 out of 10 to the owners.”
- Hugh, October 2022Dear Guest Thank you very much for your comments and for choosing Harbourside Landing, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay and would be delighted to welcome you back in future. Property Owner
Robert “The property was beautifully presented and clean.”
There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom which the owners had tried to disguise with a reed diffuser. Our issue was the garage. We had read in other reviews that it was small, but we assumed the people complaining had large cars. Ours was not over big, but it was tricky to get in and out and open the car doors. We opened the boot on arrival, it smacked up onto the ceiling of the garage and chipped the paint on our one year old car - a bad start!
- Robert, September 2022Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. We have never noticed a smell in the bathroom, nor had one reported previously, so we will certainly look into this on our next visit. The diffuser is only there to provide a pleasant environment. We recognise the parking space is small and whilst we have put warning tape and padding in one area where the ceiling is lower due to a beam above (and have not had this issue with our hatchback boot) we will try to improve this further. David “The perfect location for watching boats in and out of the marina whilst sitting on the balcony with a drink.”
A really comfortable apartment , plenty of space and well fitted. It was a pleasure to stay there.
- David, August 2022Dear Guest Thank you so much for your feedback, we are delighted you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you back again in future. Property Owner
Janine “A superb property!”
So beautifully furnished, immaculately clean, had everything we needed and a fantastic view to boot. Yes, a bit noisy, but you would expect that harbourside and it was not a problem.
- Janine, July 2022Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your great feedback! We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay. We are pleased any noise didn’t affect your stay and have provided some earplugs for guests as an extra touch just in case. We hope to welcome you back again in future. Property Owner
Martin “A lovely property, perfect for our stay.”
Sleep was disturbed most nights by anti social behaviour in the road outside and perhaps the owner could request more police presence to deter people from loitering?
- Martin, May 2022Mandy “We have stayed in several of the apartments in this building and this one is the most comfortable and the most stylishly decorated, it even has a dishwasher (an absolute must!”
). It would however benefit from from a wardrobe in the main bedroom and also a radiator or heated towel rail in the bathroom for warmth and drying towels. However we had a lovely holiday with all amenities close at hand and the great river views that are so good from these apartments. We did manage to squeeze our car into the garage with the wing mirrors pulled in, sadly the worst parking space goes with the best apartment.
- Mandy, March 2022Dear Guest Thank you so much for your feedback and we’re really pleased you enjoyed your stay. The main bedroom has a wardrobe rail in the bedroom cupboard, so as not to take up space in the room unnecessarily. We take on board your comments and hope we can welcome you back in future. Gavin “Great accommodation but the booking fee at £49.”
00 for a three night stay is not proportional. Sorry but won’t be booking via SYKES again.
- Gavin, February 2022Stefan “We couldn't fault the apartment overlooking the bridge.”
Wonderful. More specific details on entrance to the flat would be helpful. Top marks for Robyn who assisted very professionally in returning my cutlery.
- Stefan, October 2021Sarah “Fantastic apartment, ideally situated in the middle of Weymouth.”
A bit noisy at night, especially at the weekend but to be expected given its location. Would definitely stay again
- Sarah, September 2021Lucille “The apartment was immaculate and spotlessly clean.”
The decor, furnishings and facilities were first class. The small balcony overlooking the town bridge and harbour was very pleasant in the afternoon sunshine. The location is perfect for the town and only a short walk from the beach. The only downside was the noise in the evening from traffic and particularly loud music from a nearby pub on the Friday and Saturday night which went on until just after midnight.
- Lucille, September 2021Shirley “The place was very clean lovely view.”
But the only thing it’s noisy from the pubs and clubs the music was going on until2 to 3 o’clock in the morning. Had to shut the windows to shut the noise out and it was very hot
- Shirley, September 2021John “It’s a fabulous apartment, well equipped and furnished the location is perfect for enjoying Weymouth beach and harbour.”
- John, August 2021Jane “Apartment in very good location and added bonus of secure parking, although take note of measurements for the parking it was very tight !”
Lovely apartment good facilities and lovely decor all very tasteful, one of the best holiday places we have stayed in.
- Jane, August 2021Dear Guest Thank you so much for your feedback, we're really pleased you enjoyed your holiday in our apartment, we try hard to ensure it is as good as can be. We understand parking can be tight for larger cars, so as an alternative we provide parking permit for a range of car parks close by, just in case. We hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back in future. Thank you. Property Owner
Stephen “Apartment was nice, with great facilities, However the parking is a nightmare.”
As advertised the garage is not in the main car park, it is around the other side of the block. We have stayed before a few years back and you used to be able to access the main car park and use the lift from the garage, but now access is fenced off. This means that when arrive, you now need to unload your car on double yellow lines outside the apartment block and carry all luggage into the apartment block to get to the lift. Then go back to park your car in the garage. The garage is tiny and once our Ford C-Max was in it, it was really tricky to get out of the door.
- Stephen, July 2021Thank you for your feedback, we are pleased you enjoyed the apartment but sorry you did not find the parking suitable. We have done our best to make the parking situation clear throughout the booking information, including a photo of the parking space along with dimensions and instructions regarding the lift. It has never been possible to access the main car park from our space, it is on a different level and a different entrance. Whilst most cars will fit into the space, we understand large cars may have difficulty with the space, so to try to accommodate any size of car we have also provided an additional parking permit for a nearby car park. Thank you. The Owner. Property Owner
Helen “Couldn't Fault.”
A lovely extremely spacious stylish apartment, immaculate and spotlessly clean with everything Weymouth has to offer literally on the doorstep. Although small the covered balcony through fully opening french doors is a great bonus with great views. The garage is tight but we got a RAV4 in, however there is a free parking permit inside the accomodation for car parks close by and many others.
- Helen, July 2021Angela “The apartment was excellent, it was the communication before hand from yourselves, either by phone or e-mail, which is the problem.”
I sent an e-mail 14th May asking to confirm 1 double bed and 2 single which was never replied to, when we arrived it was 2 double beds which was not the description online. We had an e-mail 1 week before telling us the garage was out of use and to purchase a weekly ticket from Britannia car park but you can only do this 4days before and we tried 3days before. When we arrived garage door was working fine with the fob, on the Monday we were unable to unlock at mid-day, tried to call your office which as always proved impossible to get an answer. Then had a text to tell us the door was now repaired and the new fob would be in the keysafe by 4pm. We then had to find somewhere to park for 3hrs. Would not recommend Sykes customer service and telephone communication to anyone, which is a shame because the apartment and location are excellent.
- Angela, June 2021Joan “A welcome pack of basics such as tea, coffee would have been appreciated and maybe even a bottle of wine!”
But everything else was fine.
- Joan, June 2021Frederick “The Arpartmets was lovely, very disappointed with the cleaner, poo on toilet seat, oven not clean,we didn't have to use the oven as I would have cleaned it myself.”
- Frederick, May 2021Angela “We had an issue when we were due to vacate the property, as the fob to open the electric garage door stopped working.”
We contacted the emergency helpline and they rectified the problem very quickly.
- Angela, October 2020Janet “Lovely apartment over looking town bridge.”
Don’t be put off by the size of the garage space we have a Qashqai and got that in.
- Janet, October 2020David “The location is superb, the apartment benefits from an owner who likes good design, has great attention to detail and leaves nothing wanting.”
- David, September 2020Dear Guest, thank you so much for the lovely feedback about your stay and we hope you’ll consider staying again in future. Kind regards from The Owner. Property Owner
Susan “The apartment was in a perfect location, on the edge of the town and right by the bridge in the harbour.”
Spent time on the balcony watching the bridge lift and boats sail through. The apartment was bright and clean and comfortable, the furnishings were good quality, everything you could need to prepare/cook meals was in the kitchen area. The private parking was secure and took away any stress about damage when we returned to the car. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next time we are in Dorset.
- Susan, September 2020Dear Guest, thank you very much for your feedback, we’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and really hope to welcome you back in future. Kind regards - The Owner Property Owner
