    “From the minute we arrived before Christmas 2025 we knew what a wonderful apartment we were staying at.”

    A very clean and well presented property that was well heated fortunately as we were in Weymouth for a couple of weeks during a very cold spell. Sykes description of the property was spot on it was comfortable and had all the Facilities required that included a beautiful Christmas Tree. The bottle of wine and biscuits laid on for us were a lovely touch and not expected. An off-road parking space made unloading the car an easy experience being only a short distance from the property.     A very clean and well presented property that was well heated fortunately as we were in Weymouth for a couple of weeks during a very cold spell. Sykes description of the property was spot on it was comfortable and had all the Facilities required that included a beautiful Christmas Tree. The bottle of wine and biscuits laid on for us were a lovely touch and not expected. An off-road parking space made unloading the car an easy experience being only a short distance from the property. The garden backs straight onto the Promenade and with only one step out from the garden onto the promenade helped as my wife has mobility issues so lifting her Mobility Scooter onto the promenade allowed us to easily go along the promenade into Weymouth. The property was laid out very well for those with mobility issues with access at the front and to the promenade easy to navigate with minimal steps. The Garden was very dog secure so our Yorkshire Terrier was safe and sound and he loved the garden and has been known to escape but no chance here. When leaving he was as disappointed to be leaving as were were. We met the owner Steve whilst we were there and he made us feel very welcome and as he lives locally would have been available to help should we have needed him. I think our only regret was that we have not been to this apartment before but we are booked to return in the future twice and can’t wait to return to this lovely apartment. All in all it would be difficult to be critical of this apartment. Colin and Nicola

Weymouth Bay Apartment A is a wonderful two-bedroom, ground-floor apartment located in the attractive resort town of Weymouth, Dorset.

Weymouth Bay Apartment A is an excellent choice for couples or a family of four looking for a place to stay in Dorset that's close to some of the area's most beautiful beaches.

In the well-equipped kitchen, which has a dishwasher, you'll be able to whip up flavourful meals for your loved ones, ready to devour at the dining table for six.

After supper, head to the sitting room to relax on the plush seating as you select a much-loved series from the TV or in the warmer months, step outside on to the patio and enjoy the glorious sea views whilst your canine companion roams the enclosed lawned garden.

Relax in the bath or freshen up with a shower in the monochromatic bathroom as the evening begins to draw in.

Catch your rest in one of two well-presented double bedrooms, one of which has a television so you can enjoy your morning shows before starting off on your day of adventure.

Pack-up your bathing suits, swimwear, and beach towels and head straight to Weymouth Beach, where you can sunbathe, kayak, or participate in a variety of watersports.

Rockfish and Crustacean are a must for sampling fresh seafood, whilst The Ship Inn is ideal for when you fancy traditional pub fayre.

Drive to Dorchester, where literary buffs may tour Thomas Hardy's former home at Max Gate, while others can take advantage of the town’s fantastic selection of museums and the Roman Town House.

Even further away in Bridport, you'll find some of the area's best vistas and scenery on a trek along the stunning Jurassic Coast.

A short drive takes you to Portland Harbour, and the rugged “Isle” of Portland, linked to Weymouth by the dramatic Chesil Beach. Visit Dorchester, Thomas Hardy’s “Casterbridge”, only 7 miles away, or take a journey along the scenic coastal road and call in at Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens.
