“The accommodation is amazing, an absolute home from home with the bonus of a sea view every day.”

You have everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, from cutlery, plates bowls etc to weighing scales, and hand mixers, you will find what you need. The washing machine and dishwasher is also very handy. The bathroom is perfect, the bedrooms are comfy and the living room is a great size. The pictures do not do the accomodation justice! It takes around 20 minutes to walk to the harbour and around 10-15mins to the town centre. We loved the fact that we could walk out of the door, across ...

We would definitely book again and would recommend this to anyone, young and old.

“Ocean Watch 1 is a most comfortable holiday destination.”

This was our fourth holiday there and we will be back again in September this year. The view from the bay window is fantastic and ever changing, both weather and the ships in the Bay. Secure parking is a great bonus. Can’t wait to go back.

As soon as you walk through the door, it feels like home! I wish that it was….. Location is ideal - walk (slowly taking in the sights) along the Esplanade , explore the town, lunch and bus back. Perfect. Great location for walking to Lodmoor Park too. We will be back in May next year.

“We had a lovely week at Ocean Watch 1.”

Property was very comfortable and the welcome hamper was a nice addition. Beds were comfortable and the towels provided were of good quality and a good spacious shower. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed that there were no wardrobes and we had to keep some of our clothes in our cases. We missed a full length mirror although there were many locations where this could have been installed. The veranda was a lovely addition, although it looked like the table and floor hadn’t been cleaned and also the glass door was also quite dirty, fortunately there was a brush provided and we were also able to clean the door ourselves. Unfortunately we wouldn’t stay at Ocean Watch again but this is more to do with the proximity to Weymouth town centre and facilities. It’s a bit too far out of town Greenhill is lovely but a bit too quiet for us.

“The property is in a lovely position close to the beach and Sea Life.”

Its also a lovely flat but with one big problem. The bathroom was full of black mould and one of the bedrooms smelt of damp. Such a shame but as it is wouldn't stay again and would recommend avoiding if you have any sensitivities to mould and damp.

“Overall we had a good stay, the flat was comfortable, clean and well appointed.”

DVD player was great for our autistic son. Suggested improvements: need somewhere to dry towels need 2 sets of keys need instructions on how to operate the new doors front and back - very fiddly (especially if you aren't used to those types of doors) sofas very uncomfortable (cushions too soft) the upstairs flat's bedroom TV goes on at 7 AM every day, right above the main bedroom - so people who are light sleepers or like to lie in need earplugs (maybe have a word with the couple upstairs to turn the volume down abit?) I gave Sykes Cottages 4/10 as I tried several times to speak to them before the holiday without success, and the WhatsApp channel is a dead loss. Dream Cottages were responsive during the holiday though.

“Just wow. We had a amazing week in Weymouth this appointment is just amazing.”

The only thing I missed was my air fryer. The welcome pack and milk we received were amazing thank u so much for that i was worried about getting milk with it being very warm when we arrived but that little gesture means alot more than people could imagine. The shower was good nice and powerful. The views from the apartment were amazing watching the sun rise and the sun set is always my favourite thing ever. On a daily basis the lady's and gentlemen played bowls and that was nice to watch whilst having a cuppa.

“Good position, very clean, secure parking an absolute bonus in busy Weymouth.”

Sitting room balcony catches the morning sun so lovely to sit and watch the sea and the bowlers on the green opposite. Welcome pack very much appreciated - a nice touch. Slight problem with the shower as the temperature didn't appear to be controllable so ran very hot which might be a problem for young children. But the TV definitely needs sorting. We were unable to easily access even the basic channels and the technician who came to look at it also had problems. He finally managed to set it up so we could operate it ourselves (This problem might have been resolved by now as he was going to report back to the agency) That said we had an enjoyable stay at Ocean Watch 1 and, of course, the weather was great.

“The apartment was very clean and well presented, with lots of extras like games & DVDs.”

The welcome hamper and milk in the fridge was a lovely idea and much appreciated. Convenient for the beach and easy walk to town. Good that the balcony has shade in the afternoon and kept the place from getting too hot. Nice comfortable bed although the bed linen was a little crisp for our liking - purely a personal thing, not an issue. Not a complaint, but, the key safe needs looking at. It seems to be falling apart when you open it and it’s a bit fiddly. Also, totally out of ownership control, the permanent residents in flat above are a nice couple but rather noisy and a bit heavy footed. They are early risers and maybe could do with some thick carpet! Over all, we would recommend the apartment and would consider staying again.

The view over the Bowling Green to the bay is fantastic. Only one complaint - the water from the taps seems to have become brackish. We don’t recall it being like that last October. We will be back again this October!

“Large property in a great position.”

Very clean. Secure off street parking. So nice to arrive to milk in the fridge and a lovely welcome pack. Some noise from the flat above. There was a problem with the electric cutting out several times when we tried to use the tumble dryer. Electric problem is mentioned in the booklet about the property but an electrician needs to find the fault and permanently fix the problem.

Loved the locked car parking space, which at a seaside location is a rare treat. With the beach right across the road, and only a few minutes walk down to the town centre, it's the most wonderful location. Have really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay at Weymouth. The property is very well equipped, and great to use as a base, for any Dorset stay.

We found TV Channels were difficult to find. Poor instructions given for using TV and Humax box. Good seaside walks in both directions. Very good Lodemoor country park just 5 minutes walk away. Excellent bus services.

No wardrobes just coat hooks on wall, not given code to go thru gate to get key to get in we had to phone you we also found out that this was not the first time it has happened , was not told about the seven high steps to car park we would not go there again it was well over priced, we have had better holiday flats in the past with on suite and wardrobes a lot cheaper

“We enjoyed our holiday at Ocean Watch 1.”

The apartment is in a fantastic location and is nicely furnished. Unfortunately the cleaner was still at the property when we arrived just after 3pm and made a hasty exit. Once we’d unpacked the car and inspected the property, we found the kitchen, hallway and bathroom dirty. The kitchen counters, food cupboard and floor were covered with crumbs and there were numerous sticky spill stains on the floor which needed mopping. The bathroom ceiling was covered with dusty cobwebs and 3 resident spiders and the one soap dish available inside the shower got put our toiletries was filled with soap scum and water. We’ve enjoyed many years of holidaying through your company and this is the first time we’ve encountered such dirty accommodation. If it was simply a case that the cleaner had run out of time then we would have been more than happy to let her continue and make ourselves scarce for a while. Other than that the stay was very pleasant.
