    “We booked Dream View for 10 nights in July 2025.”

    Initial impressions were "Wow look at that view!". The flat is accessed by spiral staircase to the 1st floor, then a full flight of stairs up to the second floor. We were able to get in slightly earlier which was hugely appreciated. We met the owners upon arrival as they were also staying in the property at the same time. We were able to get in slightly earlier which was hugely appreciated. We met the owners upon arrival as they were also staying in the property at the same time. The flat was clean and tidy, with lovely bedding and towels. Being able to sit and watch the ocean was absolute bliss. The kitchen is fairly basic but had most of what we needed (including essentials like soap, washing up liquid, sponge etc). The washing machine in the cupboard was especially handy with two young children. A small suggestion would be to free up some cupboard space by removing a few of the extras like vases, Tupperware, and ice cream bowls, as we found there wasn’t much room for food or shopping. There were plenty of casserole dishes (enough to cook a roast!), but we couldn’t find some more everyday basics like a cheese grater. Nicer wine glasses and mugs would also be a lovely touch - just a little thing that can elevate the experience. A couple of fans would also be a huge benefit as the flat gets very hot. When we book a place, we really value a sense of privacy and space to fully unwind. At times during our stay, we felt a bit more interaction than we were expecting, as the owners needed to access the property to repair the stair rail, and drop off supplies for the next set of guests - this made it a little harder to fully relax. We definitely appreciate a warm welcome and support if needed, but we also enjoy being able to come and go quietly. Just wanted to share that gently in case it’s helpful for future guests.     We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Dream View. We’d just like to respond to your comments: 1. Dream View is a 2nd floor apartment above our home. It has completely separate access, but is approached from a shared driveway. 2. We always try to respect the privacy of our guests. On this occasion we needed to complete some mid season maintenance and, with your consent, spent 15 minutes doing this whilst you were out. On the 3rd day of your stay we were called away to a family health emergency and requested your permission to place some fresh bed linen in the apartment, for the next guests, before our departure. This took about 2 minutes. For the remaining 7 days of your stay we were away from home. 3. Had you asked, we would have been able to direct you to the cheese grater that is stored in the under sink cupboard. 4. Your stay coincided with a heatwave, so it was inevitable that the apartment was hotter than most would like. You had enquired about fans before your stay and, with the heatwave anticipated, we agreed to you bringing your own. Property Owner

Dream View is a bright, spacious and comfortable second floor apartment located on the esplanade in the popular Greenhill area of Weymouth.

With a featured spiral staircase to the front door on the first floor, the internal stairs lead you to the second floor and to the main living area, the ideal place to unwind and bask in the coastal views.

With tennis courts, a putting green, watersports and the coastal path, as well as the Sealife Centre and Lodmoor Country Park all on the doorstep Dream View is the perfect base for the active holidaymaker.

A leisurely stroll along the Esplanade will take you to Weymouth’s award winning blue flag beach where you dip your toes in the shallow water and walk along Weymouth seafront shops.

You can take time to wander the shops and sit and unwind in one of the many coffee shops and restaurants overlooking the beach.

Dream View is ideally situated to explore Dorset's World Heritage Jurassic Coast from Swanage to Lyme Regis and its stunning countryside all around you.

GREENHILL

Greenhill, is a pretty region of Weymouth notorious for it’s pretty pastel beach huts, beautiful gardens and pebbly beach. The beach at Greenhill is the perfect option for those seeking a quieter beach day away from the hustle and bustle of the traditional sandy beach day activities. There are a choice of beach side cafés as well as a pitch & putt that is adjacent to tennis courts. There are many Georgian houses which front onto the seafront and esplanade, along with many other historic buildings, enjoy the variety and extensive sea views as you stroll along the seafront. It’s a short 10-15-minute stroll from Greenhill into Weymouth main town centre, where you can find local independent shops tucked away in the side streets, surrounded by many high street favourites. Greenhill is the ideal location for people who want to be close to the centre without being in it.
