    “We loved the view from the apartment with lots going on at the port and harbour.”

    The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Two minor improvements would be to replace the hairdryer which is on its last legs and to clean the French windows in all the rooms.

Panoramic View is a modern and well-presented apartment situated on the rugged and beautiful Isle of Portland.

Rocky, coastal scenery gives Portland its own serene atmosphere with history and heritage by the bucket load.

The iconic red and white striped lighthouse can be found at the top of the island at Portland Bill and offers the most magnificent, far reaching views over the coast.

Portland is home to a museum, a castle and is rich in folklore and tales of pirates and smugglers to discover.

Walkers and cyclists can delight in the Portland loop of the South West Coast Path which circles around the island mapping out a trail of dramatic cliffs, rare plants and secluded coves.

There is a wide range of activities to participate in such as rock climbing, abseiling, dingy sailing and kite-surfing.

Portland Marina and the National Sailing Academy offers scuba diving in the Harbour or in Chesil Cove.
