The property

Village View is a superb property offering uninterrupted views over the village of Burton Bradstock and along the Jurassic Coast towards West Bay.

This all ground-floor accommodation is well-equipped for a romantic retreat to this wonderful part of the country, steeped with a vast array of amenities and attractions to suit all tastes.

Upon entering the property, you are welcomed into the spacious porch where you can kick off your muddy walking shoes before relaxing into your evening within the contemporary open-plan living room.

Be delighted by the large windows that offer views over the fields and the woodburning stove which gently fills the room with warmth during those chilly winter months.

Throw open the patio doors to discover a quaint patio area, where you can enjoy a spot of alfresco dining whilst soaking up your wonderful surroundings.

Completing the interior is the double bedroom with exposed beams and a well-equipped shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC.

If you can tear yourself away from this delightful base, a short stroll will bring you to the village centre, where you will find two pubs, serving food, a Post Office and garage that can provide all those essential supplies.

Slightly further is the market town of Bridport, where you will find a a twice-weekly market and plenty of independent shops and cafés to explore one afternoon.

Your visit won’t be complete without a trip to West Bay, famous for its starring role in ITV’s Broadchurch series, sit on the harbour side and enjoy some fresh local fish and chips followed by local award-winning ice cream.

When staying at Village View access to indoor bowling at Bridport Indoor Bowls Club is available and for people who have not tried bowling before lessons can also be arranged.

A wonderful coastal village in Bride Valley on Dorset's picturesque Jurassic Coast, flanked by the River Bride. Burton Bradstock is the perfect spot for a peaceful break on England's south coast, with the South West Coastal Path running alongside for you walking enthusiasts. The village itself boasts 16th and 17th century thatched cottages as well as two pubs, a shop and a Post Office, the glistening Hive Beach is a wonderful spot to spend the summer days with the magnificent cliffs as a backdrop, there is also a lovely café to sit and relax in, once a year the Spring Tide Festival is held which would be worth lining up your holiday with! There are many attractions and activities to enjoy around here, with the stunning coastal resort of Weymouth making for an excellent day out. Alternatively, head inland to Dorchester and Yeovil for great shopping, architecture, eating and drinking.
