stunning walks along the coastal path and the surrounding area. Easy walk to Hive Beach, very peaceful and chilled. West Bay undergoing major coastal protection work but you can still get to the fabulous beach by going down past the row of cottages to the left of the town. Its not well signed. Having said all that the start of the holiday was marred by the cleanliness of the cottage. Kitchen was fine but the main bedroom carpet and the cushions on the bed was covered in black dog hair and the lounge carpet hadn't been hoovered either. My other half took the Henry cleaner up but said it wasn't picking up. I dismantled the cleaner only to find it completely blocked with dust and hair. Next hour spent cleaning the place. Gave feedback to Dream Cottages who apologised.

The property

A delightful three bedroom thatched cottage in the pretty coastal village of Burton Bradstock.

River Cottage has an enclosed garden and off road parking for two cars.

Pets are welcome.

The property is filled with character the sitting room is the perfect place to spend a winter evening snuggled up with a book and a glass of wine.

The cottage garden has a magical feel you will wish to explore and spend time sitting enjoying the fresh air.

Just a short stroll away are Hive Beach where you can taste local produce at the Hive Beach café overlooking the pebbled beach..

There is also a shop and two pubs with good food.

A few miles away is the pretty harbour at West Bay why not enjoy good old fashioned seaside fare of fish and chips sitting by the harbour.

Also why not travel to the market town of Bridport which has good shopping and a market.
