The property

Bramble Cottage is a Grade II listed thatched stone cottage situated in the heart of beautiful Burton Bradstock.

Sitting right on the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline, Burton Bradstock is a picture postcard traditional village, full of pretty thatched cottages, a local village store, post office and two traditional public houses, which are reputed to serve mouth-watering locally caught fish and delicious local ales.

This holiday cottage is one of the oldest in this pretty village, having been built some 350 years ago.

It has undergone an extensive renovation project, seeing a new kitchen, bathroom, decorated throughout and furnished with new furniture.

Boasting three bedrooms and a modern kitchen, along with cottage style sitting and dining area allowing you to relax and enjoy a drink in the evenings after a day exploring the local area.

You can also take full advantage of sitting on a summers evening in the lawned garden.

Bramble Cottage offers all the cosiness of a traditional Dorset Cottage, with the modern touches that make it a relaxing home from home.

An outing to West Bay, less than 2 miles away, gives you a chance to explore the colourful fishing harbour, the popular Broadchurch filming locations and a chance to sample some of the locally caught crabs and lobsters.

Bridport is 3 miles away and has a busy farmers market and weekly antiques and collectables market.

If your passion is golf, visitors are made welcome throughout the year at the nearby West Dorset Golf Club.

Bramble Cottage is the perfect location for a family or friends to enjoy a break exploring the iconic Dorset Jurassic coast. Bramble Cottage has an adjoining property, Lilac Cottage, (Property ID 994332) which you may wish to consider if you are planning a holiday for a larger group.

A wonderful coastal village in Bride Valley on Dorset's picturesque Jurassic Coast, flanked by the River Bride. Burton Bradstock is the perfect spot for a peaceful break on England's south coast, with the South West Coastal Path running alongside for you walking enthusiasts. The village itself boasts 16th and 17th century thatched cottages as well as two pubs, a shop and a Post Office, the glistening Hive Beach is a wonderful spot to spend the summer days with the magnificent cliffs as a backdrop, there is also a lovely café to sit and relax in, once a year the Spring Tide Festival is held which would be worth lining up your holiday with! There are many attractions and activities to enjoy around here, with the stunning coastal resort of Weymouth making for an excellent day out. Alternatively, head inland to Dorchester and Yeovil for great shopping, architecture, eating and drinking.

Note: No naked flames (such as candles) in the cottage due to the thatch. Please do not smoke near the cottage. The garden which is accessed via steps before turning left along a short path behind another cottage is partially enclosed and has a patio and lawned area, supervision of children in the garden is therefore recommended. Guests need to provide their own cot linen.
