The cottage was very clean and comfy, and the addition of hand torches dotted about were great - although we didn’t need them. We were able to park easily.
The property was as we expected from the photos.
However, attention to detail is everything. The property sleeps 4 but broken glasses and crockery hadn’t been replaced - there was only one side plate, 3 dinner plates, 3 tall glasses and 3 decent sized mugs.
The liquid soap dispenser in the kitchen was just filled with water, ...

The liquid soap dispenser in the kitchen was just filled with water, there was an empty tissue box (if you’re kind enough to supply them, there need to be some in there) and there weren’t any tea towels. We did send a message asking for tea towels and soap. The tea towels came the following day but no soap. A light bulb needs replacing and the freezer compartment hasn’t been defrosted in a very long time.
In the bathroom, the liquid soap was as good as empty. There were enough towels but not a bath mat, so we used a towel.
Overall, we would definitely recommend the cottage and had a really lovely stay.
