    “We were luckily enough to be the first guests to stay in the cottage.”

    The cottage has been finished beautifully, comfortable beds and the inclusion of the air fryer and the washing machine were really useful. The kitchen was well equipped, good WIFI and easy parking space. A home from home. It was the perfect location for us to visit our friends who live in the village, we will definitely be booking again. Very close to the village park, beach other village amenities.

Long Barn is a charming thatched cottage set in the village of Burton Bradstock, Dorset, well suited to families and friends looking for a coastal break with village amenities and river views close by.

Park up using the off‑road space and step straight into the conservatory, where exposed stonework, tiled flooring and seating create a welcoming first space to settle in after arrival or enjoy a quiet drink.

From here, the conservatory opens into the kitchen and dining area, making it easy to come together around the breakfast bar as breakfast is cooked on the hob, pause at the window seat with a coffee, and move comfortably between preparing meals and sitting down to eat.

The nearby sitting room feels bright and relaxed, with carpeted flooring, a sofa and armchairs arranged for evenings spent watching TV or unwinding after days outdoors.

Upstairs, artwork lines the landing which leads to the bedrooms and bathroom, including a twin room with a partial sloping ceiling, soft carpeting and countryside views, alongside a spacious double bedroom that looks out towards the River Bride flowing under the bridge, offering a calm place to wake up and wind down.

A wonderful coastal village in Bride Valley on Dorset's picturesque Jurassic Coast, flanked by the River Bride. Burton Bradstock is the perfect spot for a peaceful break on England's south coast, with the South West Coastal Path running alongside for you walking enthusiasts. The village itself boasts 16th and 17th century thatched cottages as well as two pubs, a shop and a Post Office, the glistening Hive Beach is a wonderful spot to spend the summer days with the magnificent cliffs as a backdrop, there is also a lovely café to sit and relax in, once a year the Spring Tide Festival is held which would be worth lining up your holiday with! There are many attractions and activities to enjoy around here, with the stunning coastal resort of Weymouth making for an excellent day out. Alternatively, head inland to Dorchester and Yeovil for great shopping, architecture, eating and drinking.
