Over the past year Weymouth Seafront has seen many changes including the addition of brand new South Coast sustainable seafood restaurant, Rockfish. Situated underneath 5 The Beaches and 6 The Beaches, it makes for a perfect gourmet stay in Dorset.
Headed up by Chef Mitch Tonks, this restaurant made it’s debut in Dorset by opening on Weymouth Seafront, shortly followed by Poole Quay. Dining in the restaurant itself is a whole educational piece on sustainable food sourcing. Every effort has taken place to ensure the seafood delivered from Brixham Fish Market is as fresh, as fresh can be.
The menu is every changing due to seasonality and demand. At Rockfish there’s so much to devour including oysters, monkfish, cuttlefish, pout, scallops, crab, lobster and squid to name just a handful of seafood delights. You can also sample their own wine, Xarel-Lo, cider and gin along with homemade tartar and tomato sauce.
