Bramble Cottage is a Grade II listed thatched stone cottage situated in the heart of beautiful Burton Bradstock. Sitting right on the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline, Burton Bradstock is a picture postcard traditional village, full of pretty thatched cottages, a local village store, post office and two traditional public houses, which are reputed to serve mouth-watering locally caught fish and delicious local ales.  This holiday cottage is one of the oldest in this pretty village, having been built some 350 years ago. It has been brought right up to date with an extensive renovation project, seeing a new kitchen, bathroom, decorated throughout and furnished with new furniture.  Bramble Cottage now offers all the cosiness of a traditional Dorset Cottage, with the modern touches that make it a relaxing home from home.   An outing to West Bay, which is less than 2 miles away, gives you a chance to explore the colourful fishing harbour, the popular Broadchurch filming locations and a chance to sample some of the locally caught crabs and lobsters. Bridport is just 3 miles away and has a busy farmers market and weekly antiques and collectables market. If your passion is golf, visitors are made welcome throughout the year at the nearby West Dorset Golf Club.   Bramble Cottage is the perfect location for a family or friends to enjoy a break exploring the iconic Dorset Jurassic coast.

Mr A de La Mare
The cottage was spotless when I arrived. Beautifully fitted out and very well equipped. Stayed June 2018

Mrs E Dallemagne
Lovely cottage, immaculate throughout and wonderful village. Have the bedroom at the back of the cottage if you want absolute peace and quiet. Stayed March 2018

Miss C Springate
The cottage was beautifully maintained and the facilities were great. Location was brilliant - two villages pubs 100m walk either side of the cottage, and easy access to the local beach and the South West Coast Path. We were very happy with our break and would definitely recommend both the cottage and Dream Cottages.

Mr C Spillett
Excellent stay, beautiful cottage!

Mrs V Whitlock
We have had the best time this past week in this most delightful cottage. As a family it ticked everything on the box. After a crazy, busy time for us we have all reconnected as a family, enjoyed playing cards and monopoly, walked to the park, pub and beach. Breathed in fresh sea air and spectacular scenery. Eaten good food (and bad) and embraced all that sunny Dorset had to offer. Thank you and we will be back. We didn't want to leave!! Stayed August 2017

Mrs J Walker
Everything was perfect, all new furniture and fittings and incredibly clean and loved, new carpets and pristine bedding and towels. The garden was immaculate and plenty of room for our miniature schnauzer to play. Location is excellent, central to village with 2 pubs serving good food, a post office and petrol station and beautiful dog walks through the field to the beach or a circular through the village. We were fortunate to have wonderful weather, so got to the lovely beaches and cafe's in Dorset every day. Dream cottages were superb and accommodating and would definitely book again- Stayed July 2017

About the Location

Burton Bradstock perfect for that holiday getaway. Well known for its’ prime position along the Jurassic Coast where the sandstone cliffs mark the start of Chesil beach, Burton Bradstock is a large and pretty village which has retained much of its’ character from a time when it’s inhabitants were made up a small community of farmers, fisherman, net makers and flax spinners. Burton Bradstock beach is a shelving shingle beach close to the village, with far reaching views across Lyme Bay and Chesil Bank. There are plenty of picturesque walks to choose from all along the coast and when you are tired, the village also boasts one of the finest seafood restaurants in the area ‘The Hive Beach Café’, where you can kick back and watch the world go by.
