    “Really lovely, tastefully decorated & spacious property in a quiet, peaceful location despite still being a working farm.”

    We didn't hear a peep out of the cows all week. We enjoyed staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. I have a bad back and being honest, I am overweight and found the mattress in smaller superking room wasn't very comfortable for me personally but it may be perfectly fine for most folk. I ended up using the single bed in 3rd bedroom which was fine as there were only two of us in our party in the end. Friendly, helpful owners who are just next door left us a welcome basket which was ...

Some narrow lanes in the surrounding area but main roads easily accessible within a few minutes drive. Great to have two bathrooms, one on each floor. Three spacious bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen. Also a decent size lounge/diner. The outside area is very relaxing with a hot tub, plenty of seating and a rotary airer for drying towels etc. Terrific WiFi but mobile phone signal not as good (I'm on Tesco mobile which is/was O2) Overall would highly recommend this property particularly if you appreciate peace and quiet.

The ancient market town of Langport lies at the heart of the Somerset levels, at the crossing point of the River Parrett, mid-way between the county town of Taunton and Yeovil. Its central location makes it a thriving hub for local villages and an ideal base to explore the surrounding area, as well as the Somerset Levels, one of England’s most unchanged Landscapes. The ancient beauty and diverse wildlife of the area makes it one of the landscapes that have inspired many artists and photographers as well as drawing visitors from all over the world. The surrounding countryside teeming with pretty villages and quiet country lanes with footpaths and cycle trails to explore the picturesque Somerset Levels. This is an excellent touring base for the area, with the stunning town of Glastonbury just over ten miles away, noted for its famous music festival, it also benefits from an array of superb amenities and displays a stunning abbey, Clarkes Shopping Village at Street, Wells Cathedral, Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge all within an easy drive. If a day at the beach is what you're after, the seaside town of Burnham-on-Sea is easily reachable and offers a range of amenities as well as its wonderful sandy beach. Avid walkers can make the most of the nearby Mendip Hills AONB and features magnificent walking and cycling country.
