The house was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need in the kitchen.

We had an extremely comfortable stay and would highly recommend this property. The Dorset tea and packet of biscuits left for us was much appreciated. Owner contacted us in good time with the key code for the door. Great places to explore nearby including the beautiful New Forest and Hengistbury Head which was only 5-6 minutes drive away.

The house was lovely and comfortable. Only a 4 mins walk to the local shops and 10 mins to the river. 5 mins by car to Southbourne beach and 10 mins to Mudeford.

Lovely house in a quiet location with all the facilities as listed.

Easy access to all amentiies and bus routes to many places. Suggestion would be to have a fan, especially in this really warm weather. Thank you for a great stay.

The location of the property was ideal.

It was well equipped however , cleanliness and comfort was below par. House could do with a deep clean.

The house was lovely and warm and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room in the lounge and dining area for a large family. The house is in a quiet close with private parking for two cars and only a few minutes walk to a variety of shops and a bus stop.

32 Cranleigh close was a lovely holiday home, very clean and comfortable with great facilities, The location was spot on for the, shops, beach, and river walks.

The only constructive feedback I can give is that the beds are in need of replacing.

All the divan bases creak and the mattresses are sagging. With new beds I would not be able to find fault with the property and would give it 10/10. With new beds I would rebook in a heartbeat.

Property very comfortable and very well equipped.

Garden beautiful. Plenty of information about the property, the appliances and the surrounding area. Found the information folder with what to see and do in the area very helpful. Also found the visitors book had some top tips although forgot to write in there myself. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay

Really nice house.

well cleaned.plenty of clean linen. Near to local shops about 200 metres level walk. Christchurch about 5 minutes drive. Convenient for New Forest Couple of points 1) no hand rails in shower 2)kitchen floor was uneven. Overall a good let and we would use again

The house is in a fantastic location with lots of shops selling essential bits and good pubs and restaurants. The property itself is lovely and really well maintained and equipped. We especially loved the nautical theme. The beds were lovely and comfortable and it is in a lovely quiet cul-de-sac. The shutters on the windows really helped to keep it dark which helped get a restful sleep. We would definitely recommend this property to others. Loads to explore nearby and good transport links.

Cranlleigh Close is a great location for exploring the Christchurch and Bournemouth area.

Tuckton is a small suburb close to the river Stour, with local shops including the excellent Bigwigs bakery. Tuckton tea rooms and boat hire only 10 minutes walk away, you can also walk all the way to Hengitsbury Head along the Stour path. Great views over Christchurch harbour and Mudeford Quay. There's a passenger ferry that sails from Tuckton to Mudeford beach. The house has a strong seaside theme, nice and clean, it had all that we needed for a comfortable stay.

The building is not well sealed.

Smoke from neighbours' fires made it into the property on almost every night of our stay. We ran an air purifier with a sensor that clearly monitored the pollutant ingress during these times. Who knows what it would have been like if we hadn't been running a purifier? I discovered one of the windows has a perished seal but that didn't seem to be the source of it. All relayed to the land-person who reacted like I was asking her for comments on the flavour profiles of mandarins from China vs. Japan. The property was not cleaned effectively before our arrival and it smacked of make-do: the air freshener sprayed excessively before our check-in the tell-tale. There was old food encrusted on place mats and the floors. An old toothbrush next to the nightstand. Pieces of food in the bedrooms. A smear of ketchup on the glass doors. Stains all over the kick-boards in the kitchen. The dishwasher still had water in it - not draining well obviously...we never tested it. Lamps were missing bulbs. Drawers were overflowing with out-dated tourism leaflets. The house feels like an old star being given a Vegas residency - you can slap as many gewgaws on it as you like but things don't quite look or feel as they used to. The plus sides: it had a highly effective heating system, the washing machine and fridge-freezer were good and the provision of crockery, pots and pans, cutlery, and other kitchen amenities were excellent: far better than many places you might stay. The decor is hideous. Cluttered. A caricature of a seaside home. It borders on the offensive. The furnishings are worn and stained. The towels are like drying yourself with a door mat.

Our stay was lovely in an amazing area with a beautiful house, homely and comfortable.

Our only down fall was we were told there will be essentials to start our stay, which i wouldn't class as the bare minimum. There was 1/4 of toilet roll between 2 toilets, no washing up liquid or spounge, 1 dishwasher tablet we had to hunt for and 1 bin bag between 2 bins. This was the only downfall as it means anyone staying will have to spend the extra £30 on things we could get in a hotel. A few dirty pans and pots in the cupboards and there was no mattress for the baby cot (more of a travel playpen) and had to use a folded duvet. Cleaning seemed abit rushed but facilites were great for longer stays. Overall a great place to stay and the owner warm and accommodating, will definitely book again knowing whats ahead thank you.

We really enjoyed staying at 32 Cranleigh Close, we appreciated the tea and biscuits which were left for us, also a large vase of Lillies.

We were within walking distance of local shops and also Riverside Pub where we had lunch. I would not hesitate to recommend this holiday let to family and friends. Also our children loved the fact there was Wi-Fi.

In the house the beds were really comfy, the shower was like a monsoon, x2 sofa's big enough for the four of us so we weren't squashed up in the evenings. Big fridge, dishwasher, conservatory/deck/garden were nice although we didn't use them much. For a family there's everything you need to make a 1 week stay easy, and you could set up home for a longer stay as well. The curtains were nice and heavy so we got a good nights sleep. The telly was also a decent size which was great - no squinting in the evening like some places! They might seem silly but to us, after a long day out with the kids, it's these small things that make for a relaxing, restful evening which is what we want on holiday. The location was good for going to Bournemouth, Poultons Park, and popping in to Christchurch for coffee. Not sure what the local high streets are like as we had dinner and drinks in as we have young kids, but a pretty good base if you want to travel to various spots in Dorset and Hampshire. This is an older house, so if you want to be somewhere that's newly renovated, go to a hotel. The owner has clearly put in lots of effort to make this a home, rather than just a house for many. Would happily stay again next time we head that way.

Lovely spacious property with comfortable beds.

Local shops handy for daily items. Great walking, sea and countryside nearby.

The only reason for the 4 stars was the wooden flooring downstairs.

Otherwise the place was very clean and well stocked with living essentials. The location was very good for us and the area very quiet indeed.

The house was cosy and comfortable for a January stay.

The kitchen is very well equipped. The location excellent for shops, eating and walking. We were staying whilst having building work done at home and know the area well, but would recommend it for a holiday stay.

Roomy and comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, with a conservatory and plenty of outdoor space to relax in. When we were there the weather was very hot and the owner ordered a new parasol and base for us to use, which was a really nice touch. Would highly recommend

We had a lovely stay the house was clean and had everything we needed for our home from home for a week. The beds were comfy, great shower, great location for days out. Walking distance to shops and beach even with a 4 year old. The owners have clearly spent lots of time and energy making sure the property had everything we needed thinking of all the little details. Thank you for the biscuits and coffee too much appreciated.

Based on the reviews we were expecting something cleaner and less tired.

The accommodation was spacious and well laid out.

Facilities were very good and the availability of both the conservatory and outdoor space was particularly welcome as they covered us for all weather conditions. If we had a criticism it would be around the quality of some of the cooking utensils/pans and trays some of which had seen better days. Due to the COVID restrictions we did cook in a bit more often than usual and replacing some of these would be a real bonus. That said we would rebook this accommodation in the future

The house was lovely and clean but we feel it could do with a little bit of work done to it just to spruce it up things like a new cooker and toaster the garden needed tidying and the plants needed cutting back on the whole though it is in a great area close to shops restaurants and pubs and a 5 min drive to the beach
