Strange as hot water was working and we made sure the boiler mode was set for radiators and water. Didn't bother us too much - second day we went out and bought firelighters and kindling and used the wood burner. Of more concern was access to the garden grass area, very high slippery steps and no handrails, scary to us older folks with arthritic knees and hips. The garden was poorly maintained, the lawn area had thick grass making it difficult to locate dog poo - but we did our best. On the third day we stopped our dog going up there as we felt the access was unsafe (for us). Also had to get a kitchen knife and cut down a huge thick bramble which was dangling down over the seats that got the afternoon sun.

Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad first impressions were great and the cottage was clean. We’re sorry about the central heating — we’ll get this looked at straight away. We’re also taking your comments about the garden steps on board and will be looking into adding a handrail to make access safer for everyone. We’ll also make sure the lawn and seating area are better maintained going forward. We really appreciate you flagging these things and hope to welcome you back in the future! Property Owner
