it has everything we need
A great upside property with stunning views of the Chesil bank.
Bed was comfortable. Dream Cottages operate the booking and were very quick to respond to a couple of issues we had. The TV was difficult to connect to the WiFI and kept dropping out making On Demand channels difficult to use, and Netflix was unavailable completely. The oven wasn't working and shoukd have been checked by the cleaner. The sofa was also hard and uncomfortable. We would return as the location was so good.
Our first time in Weymouth and we'd definitely return.
However this property is situated in Wyke Regis which is a bit run down and has very little to offer. Be careful walking the streets as there's dog muck everywhere. The accommodation is nicely presented, well equipped and enjoys lovely views from upstairs. Unfortunately we found the previous guests uneaten food in drawers and inside the freezer, had to unblock both plugholes in the bathroom, the cooker didn't work (trips out the electric as soon as you turn it on), and the broken fence bangs against the neighbours shed all night long. Welcome pack only consists of 6 tiny biscuits... poor show! Only 30 minutes walk into Weymouth and same again for Portland Lidl.
