Make your way into the open-plan living area, where you can cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen and savour a delicious meal at dining table for three over a well-deserved bottle of wine.

After dinner, retire to the plush seating in the sitting room and select your favourite series from the TV as the evening’s entertainment.

Pour in the bubbles and enjoy a blissful soak in the bath with your favourite book or freshen up with a shower after a day spent on the beach.

When sleep calls, retreat to one of two well-appointed bedrooms to catch your rest, a double and a single.

For those evenings when you don't feel like cooking, take a stroll into the town centre, and enjoy the many excellent pubs and independent restaurants.

The beach is a great place to spend the day, whether you want to relax on the sand or try your hand at watersports.

The Victorian Nothe Fort and Gardens and Sandsfoot Castle will excite budding historians, while the RSPB Radipole Lake will cater for the wildlife aficionados in your party.

Also in town are the Lodmoor Country Park, the National Trust's Lodmoor, Weymouth Golf Club, and the beautiful Weymouth Harbour.

Enjoy the South Dorseet Coastpath around Portland with every changing scenery of quarry and sea.

Dorchester has a superb collection of museums, including the Dorset Museum, The Keep Military Museum, and The Roman Townhouse; get over there to check them out.

The former residence of Thomas Hardy, in Max Gate, is a must-see for literary buffs.

In Bridport, you can take a stroll along the Jurassic Coast, which boasts some of the best scenery and vistas in the region!
