“Lovely clean cottage set in beautiful quiet garden.”
The owners met us at the cottage and were friendly and helpful- Mr Edgar, June 2021
“We were very impressed with Tern Cottage, there was everything there that you could possibly need, excellent experience, would highly recommend.”- Mrs Debenham, May 2021
“Super cottage which was very clean, comfortable and COVID safe!”
Lots of lovely places to sit and enjoy the weather both inside and out! The owners were very helpful. West Bay was a great place for walks.- Mrs Wansey, May 2021
“The heating came on in the morning and as it was quite cold weather this was great.”
The problem was in afternoon and evening there was no central heating so we were quite cold despite a fire in the lounge. It would have been better if it could have been on then as the weather was so cold.. A minor point but as the water was hard there were lots of bits in the kettle and the filter was missing. Otherwise we very much liked the bungalow and its position so near the sea and facilities in West Bay. The adjacent caravan park was not a problem to us as everywhere was quiet.- Mrs Plant, April 2021
“Very comfortable property in an excellent location.”
Nice and close to the harbour. We were a bit concerned about it being noisy as it was so close to the caravan site but it wasn’t,a problem. Very quiet and no noise at night either. A lovely spot for a relaxing break. We especially liked the conservatory and the little reading nook which caught the afternoon sun. It was nice that the owners came to introduce themselves and make sure everything was ok. We would have booked for next year but it was already booked. We would come again.- Mrs Mytton, October 2020
“We thoroughly enjoyed our first stay in Dorset.”
Tern Cottage was clean and very well equipped and perfect place to stay to enjoy the beautiful sunsets and sunrises West Bay has to offer or to explore the Jurassic Coast. It was very nice to meet the owners who came to check if everything was ok. Everything you need is provided in the cottage and lots of information to work appliances and general information. The beach is a 2 minute walk away or a few minutes more and you are in the harbour with an abundance of places to eat, drink or just people watch. Although the harbour is a very busy place all the shops etc surrounding it are superb with restrictions and systems in place to tackle COVID and we felt perfectly safe. We will definitely be back one day. Mrs J Warren (Essex)- Mrs Warren, August 2020
“Beautiful cottage with very short walk to the beach.”

“We throughly enjoyed our stay in this thoughtfully equipped cottage.”
It had everything we could need. It was very good to have all the separate areas to sit in at different times of the day which we very much appreciated. The beds were very comfy and the whole place was very clean. The central position in West Bay made the amenities accessible for my Mum who can't walk quite so far these days. Thank you for all you help in booking this - stayed April 2018- Mrs Clark, May 2018
