“This was my second visit to The Folly and it was as good as my first.”

The property is very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The owners have provided all the small things that make life easier - a good supply of logs for the wood burner, dishwasher/ washing machine tablets, bin bags to name a few. The surrounding grounds are well maintained and there is plenty of space to sit and appreciate the tranquillity. I didn’t use the bbq but it’s a thoughtful addition for the summer evenings. The surrounding grounds are well maintained and there is plenty of space to sit and appreciate the tranquillity. I didn’t use the bbq but it’s a thoughtful addition for the summer evenings. There are a couple of chairs and a small table which were great if you wanted to sit outside for morning coffee/lunch. I took one of the chairs up the external staircase so that I could enjoy the afternoon sunshine. The owners are so welcoming and made sure that I had everything I needed. They are also a good source of information about the local area if you wish to sample the local hostelries and/ or gardens. This really is an exceptional place to stay.

How reviews work
