“Upstairs right hand bedroom, bathroom smelt of drains.”
Everywhere cleaning awful, superficial, needed a deep clean, corners, under furniture, under cushions also under downstairs single bed, lots of previous occupant's debris. Kitchen equipment dirty, coffee dregs still in machine on arrival, dishwasher filter needed cleaning, blunt knives, tin opener not usable. Room doors dropped and difficult to shut, main back door didn't open by end of stay. No spare toilet rolls. Sykes support abysmal. No way of contacting, service query was closed automatically without an agent contacting me.
We are very surprised to read this negative feedback. We pride ourselves on cleanliness and on always responding to any issues that our guests might have. Sadly you did not contact us during your stay. All bathrooms will have had a minimum of three loo rolls, as is our standard, therefore a total of 12 provided . I will investigate the not sharp enough knives and replace the tin opener. There are three sets of bi fold doors out into the garden from the sitting room and as far as I can tell they are all able to open fully. Also which doors did not shut properly please? I hope that Sykes have responded to you, what was the service query?
