“This has been such a wonderful cottage to stay in.”

The attention to detail throughout the house was fantastic. The location perfect with everything you need close by. The garden was lovely too and big. We really enjoyed our stay.

The property

Resting in an idyllic residential area of Brewers Quay and Hope Square, in walking distance of the fantastic amenities and attractions of Weymouth, Weybury Cottage is a spectacular choice for a coastal escape to Dorset with your loved ones.

Built by the first brewery company in the area to house its senior staff, the property dates back to 1884 and this date is beautifully displayed on the end of the building in the brickwork.

Just a short stroll away from the wonders of the Old Harbour, Newton's Cove Beach and the picturesque Nothe Gardens, this terraced cottage boasts a desirable position at any time of the year.

Inside, the contemporary interior of the property is a true delight to return to after each day of adventure; take a seat within the comfort of the sitting area in the open-plan living space, where you can rest your feet with the television providing your entertainment for the evening, or spend a quiet moment to yourself within the inviting snug, the perfect spot to delve into a good book or simply spend time relaxing and planning your itinerary.

Enjoy quality time together around the dining table, the amply-equipped kitchen hosting everything you could need when you’re not out sampling the delicious eateries of the local area, or take your dining experiences outside and bask beneath the sun as you dine alfresco in your private rear garden.

Soak in the splendor of the cottage with its rustic charm including its feature fireplace, traditional cottage doors and exposed brick, before making your way upstairs to discover the three beautiful sleeping spots, made up of a kingsize and twin room on the first floor and an additional kingsize on the second floor.

Begin your day with a refreshing soak in the bathtub or enjoy a quick shower before heading out to explore the wonders of the local area, with Hope Square offering all you could need in terms of cuisine with plenty of restaurants, tearooms and pubs where you can indulge in a celebratory meal or a tasty lunchtime treat after a morning of rambling along the shores.

Be sure to explore Weymouth’s Old Harbour where you can watch the boats and yachts bobbing along the water, or spend time on the Blue Flag beach where you can swim, paddle and enjoy some bucket and spade fun!

Roam the Georgian esplanade where you can find even more eateries and shops to pick up the perfect souvenir to bring back home, or venture out further to explore the many wonders of the Jurassic Coast where you may even find your very own fossil, as well as the delights of Dorchester being in easy reach for a wonderful day of shopping to while away the hours.

Brewers Quay is the old Victorian brewery situated at the heart of the harbour, in Weymouth, Dorset. Much of the grade II listed complex and surrounding brewery buildings date from the late 1800 early 1900’s and many have stones inlaid commemorating their construction year. This area is now a popular destination with many restaurants, café and bars, creating a vibrant culture, where you can relax with a drink and watch the world go by. Tucked away down the harbourside streets, you will find original Tudor harbour buildings, estimated to have been built in 1600 and well worth a visit, with a very interesting history to share. You will also find the Weymouth Museum, with some incredible exhibitions, and the harbour is also home to the lifting bridge, where you can watch the luxury yachts head out to sea, and then walk over the bridge to the town's winding streets of boutique shops and the seafront esplanade and beach. There is more to this seaside town than meets the eye; Brewers Quay is a much-loved holiday destination in Weymouth!
