“My wife and I stayed with our two grandchildren (aged 11 and 9) and we were all very pleased with the property.”

It is very well situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, but within easy walking distance to the harbour. It's clean and comfortable, well equippped with loads of cupboard space and the owners look to have taken on board the (minor) negative comments from earlier reviews and rectified them wherever possible. My wife struggled with locking and unlocking the front door, but always managed it in the end. It's the only reason I didn't give Sea Pebbles a five star review.

The property

Sea Pebbles is a modern semi-detached house in an enviable position in Weymouth, just a few steps from far reaching views over The Nothe Fort, Portland, and as far along the Jurassic Coastline as the eye can see.

This beautifully presented house offers all you need for a Weymouth holiday.

Deceptively this house appears as a two-storey home from the front but is actually over 3 floors.

On the lower ground floor you will find a spacious sitting room that opens out onto the landscaped and enclosed garden, with various seating areas.

On the ground floor you will find a spacious and well-equipped kitchen diner with all your need to create delicious meals.

On the first floor you will find 3 comfortable bedrooms perfect for refreshing sleep before another day exploring Dorset.

Just a few moments' walk from the harbourside, cafes and restaurants, there are plenty of options for fish and chips on the harbourside and a Dorset tea and apple cake.

It's a gentle walk into the town centre and Weymouth's award-winning beach and esplanade.

Enjoy a local ice cream as you wander along the esplanade taking in the sights and sounds of beach life.

If you want to venture further afield, you are a short drive, around 15 minutes, from Portland, it's stunning views, hidden beaches and lighthouse, or a short drive in the other direction can see you visiting the monkey rescue centre at Monkey world or world heritage sites, Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, all within 30 minutes.

Whatever you decide to do on your Dorset holiday, Sea Pebbles offers the perfect base for a family to explore.
