“I don’t normally leave feedback but on this occasion I feel I have too.”

This house was absolutely amazing !!!! We have been holidaying in Weymouth for 30 years and have stayed in b and b’s, hotels, camping etc but nothing will ever beat what we stayed in last week. Location was spot on but the house itself was superb !! Very spacious inside and the furnishings (which is the bit I always worry about) were lovely. Sofas very comfy and clean which is a bonus being a dog friendly house and the mattresses used in every room were of a great quality and not cheap nasty ...

Sofas very comfy and clean which is a bonus being a dog friendly house and the mattresses used in every room were of a great quality and not cheap nasty sprung mattresses. Bedding also of a high quality !! The only 2 things that would have been good was a dog gate at the bottom of the stairs as we used 2 of the dining chairs to stop our dog from going upstairs but liked the fact they cannot go up as we are the same in our own house that dogs stay on ground floor only l. Also getting into the house at 4pm seems extreme as most of the day has gone before you can get in especially being tired from a long trip. 2pm would be better I think but this has always been a bug bear of mine with staying in caravans too that you can’t get in until late. All in all this was possibly the best stay we have ever had in Weymouth and will 100% be coming back to the house !! Thanks very much

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review! We really appreciate your comments with regards to the furnishings - with the house being our holiday home too, we furnished it in the way in which we’d like to stay there also. We also love the location and being able to walk everywhere so easily. Thank you for your suggestion of the stair gate - we did in fact look into this but couldn’t figure out a way to attach it to the round spindle on the staircase! We’ll have a look to see if there is anything else on the market now that might work. Thanks again for your lovely comments and we look forward to you staying again at Sailor’s Abode! Best wishes, The Owners. Property Owner
