“Unfortunately, our stay at The Old Boathouse in Weymouth was very disappointing and did not live up to our expectations based on the description and presentation of the property.”

The location was a positive and Weymouth itself is lovely, but we felt the standard of the accommodation did not reflect what we had expected when making the booking. There were a number of issues during our stay which affected our enjoyment of the property and left us feeling that it was not good value for the amount we had paid. What was particularly disappointing was that this was a holiday we had been looking forward to, and instead of being able to simply relax and enjoy the accommodation, we found ourselves having to deal with problems that should have been addressed before guests arrived. We raised our concerns because we felt the condition and standard of the property needed attention. For holiday accommodation, particularly when guests are paying a significant amount for their stay, cleanliness, maintenance and an accurate representation of the property are really important. Weymouth is a wonderful place to visit and we thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding area, but sadly we would not choose to stay at The Old Boathouse again based on our experience.
