The property

The Old Boathouse is comfortable and modern holiday home situated by the inner marina in the centre of Weymouth, Dorset. The property makes a very good base for a family or group of friends to explore the Jurassic Coast as well as other local attractions. The property can accommodate up to five guests – whether it’s a family or a group of friends.

With three bedrooms over first and second floor, double bedroom boasting with en-suite as well as family bathroom on the first floor, you will prepare for night’s sleep in comfort.

A mixture of furniture in the sitting room with sofa and two armchairs, all with cushions it makes an enjoyable sociable area to relax and plan next day’s adventures. Weymouth is a perfect base to explore Dorset area as well as the town itself.

Main beach is about a 5-minute walk, inner harbour only seconds away.

Main high streets of the town are within an easy access across the town bridge which are host to a lot of popular stores, as well as individual quirky shops, a cinema and escape rooms. You will be amazed how many different cuisines from Italy to China (not forgetting traditional English) made their home in beautiful streets of Weymouth.

Every night and day choose a different meal! A short car ride to the West offers stunning West bay with crumbling golden cliffs of sand and wonderful beach, fossil hunters’ kingdom Charmouth and Lyme Regis.

To the East a visit to the stunning West Lulworth village with Lulworth castle is a must with peacocks living free in woods around.

Lulworth Cove nearby and Durdle Door arc are magnificent exhibition of beautiful rocks of Jurassic period.

Venture further East and you will reach Purbecks with many more attractions such as Corfe Castle, Swanage, Durlston Country park, Old Harry Rocks. Enjoy your stay in this lovely home by the harbour in Weymouth with family and friends, a perfect base for your adventures in Dorset.

Visit Dorchester, Thomas Hardy’s “Casterbridge”, only 7 miles away, or take a journey along the scenic coastal road and call in at Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens. Alternatively, just head down to West Bay - the views of the stunning Dorset Heritage Coastline are not to be missed!
