“Great quiet location right by the old harbour next to Hope Square with restaurants, pubs, shop, Northe Gardens and the sea all within a short walk.”

Easy walk to the beach which is lovely. The house has everything you need. As the bathroom height is restricted very tall people may find the shower difficult to use.

The property

Ocean Swell is a very well-presented cottage which is located close to the harbour and town centre at Weymouth.

The cottage is only a short distance from Weymouth's popular beaches and is a good base to explore the Jurassic Coast for families and couples alike.

The property accommodates up to six guests in three bedrooms spread over three floors.

There are two twin single rooms on the first floor with shower room and double bedroom on the top floor.

The stairs are quite narrow to both floors. Ground floor sitting area is huge, so you have plenty of space to relax after a day out exploring the area.

If it’s sunny you can enjoy an afternoon outside in the patio and read a book and have a cold drink. Ocean Swell is ideally located for access to the Harbour, Hope Square and Weymouth's long golden beach.

Stroll down to Hope Square to enjoy restaurants, tea rooms and pubs.

Walk through the square to reach the pretty Old Harbour.

Weymouth beach has shallow waters which entice bathers.

Traditional beach attractions such as donkey rides, Punch and Judy and trampolines help enhance the beach experience.

With many activities possible in Weymouth from a boat trip around the coast, visiting the Nothe Fort or a day at the Sea Life Centre it is possible to have fun filled days throughout your holiday.

If the weather is not so sunny you can visit a nine-screen cinema, ten pin bowling or Sharkey's indoor play area.

A short drive away from Weymouth you will find a beautiful and rugged the Isle of Portland with many walks inland and South West Coast path surrounding the isle.

Pay a visit to Chesil beach, a pebble beach starting a long 18-mile shingle beach which is home to unique wildlife.

A great day out would be a visit to West Bay with beautiful sand cliffs or Lyme Regis – pretty town loved by fossil hunting enthusiasts.

Venture to East and you will find one of the most photographed places in UK – Durdle Door arc and Lulworth cove in a walking distance. Stay at Ocean Swell with family or friends and enjoy this perfect base to explore Dorset.
