“We've been using Dream Cottages & staying in Weymouth for over 20 years, this is by far the worst property we have stayed in, where to start ?”

? The living room has a chair and a corner suite which were both heavily stained, there was a throw on the sofa to hide the stains but that too was filthy. There are 2 rugs in the living room which are also dirty. There is no "actual" TV as it needs to be watched via players & apps. The kitchen was well equipped & tidy albeit there is no washing machine. There is a small toilet at the end of the kitchen which is big enough for a child only, the timber used to create the doorway has been left ...

There is a small toilet at the end of the kitchen which is big enough for a child only, the timber used to create the doorway has been left unpainted. The garden needs a good sweep and garden furniture needs a clean. There is a small lean to type conservatory on the back with cobwebs in all the corners and the UPVC is dirty. The main bedroom is very spacious but only has 1 small wardrobe where there is plenty of wall space for an ample one, there is no dressing table/chair either, also the metal doorbar was raised causing a potential hazard. The bathroom is very sparce, not a single shelf or cabinet thus requiring toiletries to be stored on the floor/small window cill. A previous review mentions the bathroom door handle being loose/coming off, this has still not been rectified. All of the external windows were dirty too. Although we appreciate it's the end of the season these issues are general TLC, real shame as this property has so much potential if only it was owned by someone who cared for it. We were only there for 3 days I couldn't imagine spending a week or more there. This is the first time we have ever complained to Dream Cottages who attended the property within a few hours to do what they could to rectify the issues.
