The property

Harbour Reach is a renovated fisherman’s cottage tucked away in an elevated position just a few minutes' walk from the Brewers Quay area which is adjacent to the old harbour side in Weymouth.

Hope Square, at Brewers Quay is one of the most popular areas for locals and holiday makers alike and is bordered with pretty bistros, pubs and cafes perfect for alfresco dining in the summer and cosy fireside drinks in the winter.

The pretty old harbour side is the perfect location to marvel at the visiting yachts and working fishing boats, returning with their days catch. Harbour Reach is presented with a light and stylish interior perfect for a family or friends’ holiday.

The cottage has unique features such as a porthole stained glass window and an eclectic mix of collectors' items which gives the little cottage real personality. Enjoy your breakfast tea in your room looking over the Weymouth’s rooftops to the sea or in the rear yard area if you want some fresh air in the morning. A short walk from Harbour Reach takes you into the centre of Weymouth and the hustle and bustle of the town with various restaurants, shops and pubs suitable for families.

The main Weymouth beach is also within easy walking distance.

Leave the cottage in the other direction and you can seek peace and quiet in the Nothe Gardens which overlook the whole of Weymouth Bay - arguable the best view in Weymouth!

Perhaps chance your luck fishing from the stone pier or for the more adventurous, daily fishing tours leave from the harbour in the summer months.

There’s plenty of sightseeing tours to Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door or around the Isle of Portland – the coast just looks different from the boat! Harbour Reach cottage is perfect for families or friends looking for a comfortable and with unique features cottage in the heart of Weymouth, close to the harbour.

Brewers Quay is the old Victorian brewery situated at the heart of the harbour, in Weymouth, Dorset. Much of the grade II listed complex and surrounding brewery buildings date from the late 1800 early 1900’s and many have stones inlaid commemorating their construction year. This area is now a popular destination with many restaurants, café and bars, creating a vibrant culture, where you can relax with a drink and watch the world go by. Tucked away down the harbourside streets, you will find original Tudor harbour buildings, estimated to have been built in 1600 and well worth a visit, with a very interesting history to share. You will also find the Weymouth Museum, with some incredible exhibitions, and the harbour is also home to the lifting bridge, where you can watch the luxury yachts head out to sea, and then walk over the bridge to the town's winding streets of boutique shops and the seafront esplanade and beach. There is more to this seaside town than meets the eye; Brewers Quay is a much-loved holiday destination in Weymouth!
