“The house itself was immaculate everything you need Beautifully decorated.”

The house looks small from the outside, but surprising big. Lovely little courtyard garden. Its location close to the beach and a10 minutes walk to the town. A parking permit would have made life a lot easier. Although long stay car park about 10 minutes away

The property

Nestled in the seaside town of Weymouth, along the beautiful Jurassic coast, close to the beach, The Skipper’s House is a wonderful escape for a family looking to explore the best of Dorset.

Set over two floors, with an enclosed courtyard, The Skipper’s House features a welcoming sitting room, complete with a sofa, two chairs and Smart TV so you can enjoy your favourite shows after a long day.

When appetite picks up, move into the kitchen and cook up a storm, assisted by a range of appliances, before settling down at the dining table and indulging.

Head out through the patio doors from the dining room into the enclosed courtyard and spend those warmer evenings sitting back with a refreshing beverage in hand, toasting to a much-needed escape.

Whisk away upstairs and make yourself comfortable within the bedrooms, offering a double, twin and single, serviced by a gleaming shower room.

The main attraction of Weymouth is its stunning beach, nestled just a stone’s throw away, providing plenty of space for picnicking, sunbathing and engaging in a variety of watersport activities.

Wander the Old Harbour area, lined with quaint fishermen’s cottages, the vibrant harbour and the bustling waterfront, before exploring the narrow streets and dipping in and out of various independent boutiques.

Sample fresh food at one of the many well-established restaurants or pick up a portion of fish and chips for something quick.

For historic sites, visit Tudor House, the Weymouth Museum, Northe Fort or the isle of Portland, connected to the mainland by a causeway.

There’s so much to look forward to with a holiday at The Skipper’s House.
