The property

Mariner's Rest is a thoughtfully presented, light and airy holiday home just a short walk from the main award-winning beach in Weymouth.

The property has lovely touches with art displayed on the walls and little beach-themed decorations all around to make you feel as if you were at home.

The large sitting room opens out onto a patio garden with a table and chairs, ideal for enjoying the last of the sun's rays with a glass of something nice.

The kitchen is very well-equipped for you to make delicious meals to enjoy with family or friends at the nearby dining table or even outside in the garden. The property has off road parking for two small or one large car and welcomes one dog. Mariner's Rest is ideally located with many amenities just a stroll away; Lodmoor Country Park has lovely walks and cycle routes and a play park for children.

Adjacent is the Sealife Adventure Park, home to turtles, seals and penguins.

If walking to the beach, pick your perfect spot on the bay which spans three miles.

At one end of the main beach expect to find fine golden sand with traditional beach entertainments including donkey rides and Punch and Judy shows, whilst further along the sand changes to pebbles and the beach becomes quieter.

The Georgian Esplanade has an elegant look and has a few al fresco cafes where you may take in the sea air and views whilst enjoying food.

For guests travelling out of Weymouth for day trips, why not journey westerly along the coast enjoying the spectacular views of the Jurassic coastline, whilst stopping at traditional pretty villages which welcome visitors warmly with cosy tearooms and pubs with gardens.
