This was a 3rd time here you don't come back if its not good, brilliant place,gated everything is safe

We found Melanie's Cottage to be comfortable and convenient with everything close at hand .

We had already booked for a week later on in the year so we were very satisfied thank you .

Beautiful cottage comfortable and well maintained nicely situated for all amenities, we had a really relaxing stay and we will definitely be back to stay at the cottage , we will certainly be recommending it to family and friends.

A excellent accommodation, we stayed over Christmas, very comfortable living room Christmas tree was nice and the gift was a nice touch, shower is excellent and lots of room bed was very comfortable, the only disappointment was the fridge was not cold enough we did higher the temperature but still warm, we had to put our drinks in freezer to cool, but it did not spoil our holiday and are looking to book again for next year Thank you

The only complaint we had was the all the coffee mugs were stained and dirty and we had to clean them before we could use them.

Really lovely place to stay in such a great location.

Very comfortable with everything we needed for the week. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The shower system is incredibly loud, so wouldn't be able to use it if anyone was asleep! We would definitely stay here again as was great.

Very clean and comfy if we had one complaint it was about the boiler it was extremely noisy when one of us was in the shower to the point that you couldn’t hear the TV or radio when someone was using it , also need to put hand towel in downstairs toilet .

Location and accommodation for two of us is excellent, also safe gated parking. The property was really clean which was really pleasing as a lot of places we have stayed at have been disappointing. 10 out 10 for the cleaner or cleaner's.

We had a lovely stay at Melanie's cottage.

A couple of points that may be useful going forward: 1/ Providing a hand towel for the downstairs cloakroom would be a nice touch. 2/ The boiler makes a very loud noise when the shower is being used which makes it impossible for someone to have a shower whilst anybody is still asleep. I am sure this cannot be correct so a maintenance visit may be required? 3/ There are only three dinner plates as far as we could see. 4/ The fridge freezer was quite iced up so may need a defrost at some point.

Cups & cutlery were dirty & the grill pan was filthy.

My third year at Melanie's cottage which speaks for itself.

I should get a discount for my fourth year! The cottage is everything you could wish for. This year I had an issue with mobility and awaiting an operation. The Land Train just outside the compound was an excellent way of getting to the seafront and back. The cottage provided me with an excellent break for the week. Having a parking space outside the front door is a big bonus for those trips around the area. Would highly recommend this property and look forward to a return for the fourth time.

Ideal location near the harbour. Perfect for parking. Very clean and comfortable throughout. Love the walk-in shower! Will book again.

A well equipped cottage in an excellent location near Brewer's Quay.

Plenty of places to eat within easy walking distance. Having an allocated parking space took the hassle out of finding somewhere to park.

Couldn't get heating to work , had to call someone out .

Noticed no plug for the kitchen sink . Great location , very close to all facilities. Would definitely recommend to stay here .

This was my second year at this cottage and it is an excellent holiday location.

Being able to park in a secure compound in an excellent cottage so close to the harbour, the shopping centre and the beach is ideal. For a holiday in Weymouth, I wouldn't look anywhere else.

Fantastic week stay at Melanie's cottage.

Was perfect for the 3 of us. (2 adults and one child). It had everything we needed. The location was excellent. The only minor thing I would say and this is just being picky, I would say the seating in the lounge area isn't very comfy. But it wasn't an issue. We would definitely book again.
