We had a fabulous time at 5 sails sandbanks.

The house was perfect. We were close to the beach. Ferry and bus! Everything you could wish for on a family holiday was wrapped up nicely in our stay here. Thankyou Sykes!

Amazing place to stay, beautiful location and was really clean.

Great access and parking. Very dog friendly with back garden and grass outside the front. Loved sitting on the balcony and enjoying a glass of proseco. The welcome basket including the proseco was a lovely touch. The only negative was the WiFi which was ok but sometimes abit slow. We would highly recommend staying here and would 100% love to go back, in fact we didn't want to leave.

Location and cleanliness perfect.

The house was very hot though and the heating stat wasn’t working so was quite uncomfortable. The linen was beautiful but way too much scent that again made it uncomfortable. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked with everything and the milk, prosecco and crisps was a lovely welcome surprise.

No5 Red Sails is just perfect .

Our second stay. Home from home with everything you'd ever need in the perfect location. The home is fully kitted out and has a wonderful welcome pack. Bedrooms are very comfortable and the home is immaculate and clean ( on a personal note, the excessive use of washing powder for all the linen has a very strong floral smell. If you have allergies or asthma, it's a real issue so best to take your own pillows and duvet... The pungent smell is so strong it affects you quite badly... Maybe less concentration could be considered. You really can't get away from the smell and the affects it gives... But that's purely personal) The home is in the perfect location and we'd definitely visit again.

We had a fabulous time at 5 Red Sails - it was everything we'd hoped for and more.

There was great communication prior to arrival, and the house was spotless and very welcoming. Everything worked well for our three generation holiday, with two one-year olds. Two highchairs, cots and a stair gate were all in place for us when we arrived, thank you. The house is very well equipped and in a fantastic location, just by the Studland ferry. Staying in Sandbanks is a unique experience and this is a very special place to enjoy it.

We were a family of three generations and 2 dogs. The house layout worked, well for everyone. It was well equipped and lovely inside and out. Jenna the housekeeper was very helpful she called on our first day to let us know the house was ready so we were able to check in a bit before 4. Unfortunately we were unable to find the tv remote, however we managed as we used the google tv app. Parking was a bit tight as all the houses were occupied with at least 2 cars but there was road parking but not cheap. Our grandson particularly liked the Shell Bay ferry and at only £1.18 on foot return we did too and took full advantage of it to get over to the beautiful Shell Bay beach to walk the dogs. Great holiday had by all. Would definitely book this house again.

Really lovely house in a peaceful location.

Tastfully decorated with a well equiped kitchen. We chose to enjoy being in the house rather than eating out it was so nice! It was very kind of the housekeeper to text us the house was ready for 2pm. We couldn't get there earlier but appreciated the thought. We would definitely book again.

Beautifully presented house.

Bright and spacious, modem and clean. Back entrance door is into one of the bedrooms, we didn't need that room but just to be aware of that if 8 ppl are going. Downstairs bathroom is a bath not a walk in shower, so for anybody needing a walk-in they need to go up to the top floor; my mother in law was OK (aged 90) but again, worth knowing. (It probably does say in the property details, I can't remember) Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We were a sailing group of 2 couples and 3 singles so we fully occupied the house.

Two of us weren't sailing and we loved using the house for a quiet coffee when all the others were out on the water. Plenty of small supermarkets close by for fresh supplies and lovely walks around Sandbanks straight from the door. The weather unfortunately didnt allow for use of the lovely outside spaces on offer but we hope to come again earlier next year so hopefully we will try them then. The house is well stocked with everything you could need and more,and everyone fed back that they were very comfortable. We had the ground floor double and the bed was very comfy. There were a few signs of maintenance needed like the trim on our wardrobe was hanging off and the fan in the ground floor bathroom was on 24/7 but it is a big house and we were very happy and would definitely recommend and book again. Very clean, great location, nice welcome from the housekeeping team. Cant ask for more x

Situated in a great location easy access to the beech , Studland and quality restaurants.

The accommodation was clean and well presented, any concerns were dealt with promptly by the host .

It was an absolute fantastic week away, great accomodation with all mod cons.

fantastic location. it would have been nice to have the front secured for dogs but otherwise what a great place to stay. the welcome basket was also a fantastic gesture and much appreciated. will definitely stay again. Thank you.

A very well appointed property in an excellent location close to the beach and chain ferry.

Excellent restaurants in walking distance as well. Our second stay which surely says enough.

We had fabulous weather which made the layout and location of Red Sails perfect for a three generation beach holiday so close to the chain ferry.

The provision of stair gates was essential as was the travel cot and highchair which could have been listed more clearly avoiding a call to the agent, which is never easy. Ease of cooking and catering was enhanced by the well equipped kitchen and gas BBQ, but with the addition of a knife sharpener food prep could have been easier. Overall it was agreed that a magical time was had bathing off the superb beaches in warm, shallow waters and building elaborate sand castles with a very active toddler, or relaxing on the balcony under the amazing scots pines with a good book and a gin and tonic

Great property, ideally set up for a family of 3 generations and perfectly located for the beaches and exploring the Dorset coastline

Absolutely fabulous week spent at Red Sails Perfect for a family holiday as so near the beautiful beaches Thoroughly enjoyed our stay Would definitely recommend Only criticism would be parts looked a bit tired ie bathroom /Broken lamp in upstairs bedroom

The outside terraces were in need of a clean, and we were put off from eating or sitting around the front terrace, due to the dirt and rust on the front table.

Red Sails is a lovely property.

Wonderful location and has everything you could possibly need in the house. Clean and well cared for and Gemma was so very helpful . We all had a brilliant time

Most enjoyable stay in Sandbanks, Dorset. Only one negative was the dishwasher not working properly - otherwise a good time was had by us all. Thank you!

The house is in a beautiful location and handy to visit the many beaches and interesting places nearby. Red sails is well equipped and the house keeper is great at dealing with any problems or queries. The welcome basket for us and our dog was a lovely touch. Thank you for looking after us.

3 generations of our family really enjoyed our stay at 5 Red Sails.

The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The communal space had plenty of seating for us all and was light and airy. The kitchen was well stocked with every type of cookware you could need and plenty of crockery. The welcome package of essentials like tea, coffee, milk and orange juice and a surprise bottle of prosecco was a lovely touch. The outdoor space was lovely with plenty of seating options. Just a short walk from the sandbanks beach and the chain ferry to Studland / Swanage , there was plenty to keep us amused and Poole and Bournemouth were only short drives or bus journeys away. Special thanks to Jenna the housekeeper, who was very helpful during our stay even researching a Chinese takeaway for us. We would definitely consider coming back.

Couldn’t fault the property, very clean and well equipped everything you need for your stay .

The only thing we could complain about is the difficulties we had trying to communicate with the Sykes holiday cottages prior to our arrival regarding our booking.

A lovely well appointed property in the perfect location for Sandbanks beach, Chain Ferry to Isle of Purbeck, and many superb restaurants.

Everything we needed was available at the property as well as some nice complimentary goodies which were available to us on arrival.

The house was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean, with lots of welcome treats for us & our doggie - we felt VERY spoilt indeed. A true gem surrounded by gorgeous sandy beaches.
