“I stayed at the Corner House in Weymouth during what was probably the hottest weather we’ve ever experienced!”
Despite the heat outside, the house always stayed lovely and cool, which was a real relief to come back to after a day out.
The accommodation is a great mix of old and new, and it all works really well together. Everything we needed for our week’s stay was provided, and the welcome hamper was a lovely surprise. It was especially nice to find milk in the fridge so we could enjoy a cup of tea or coffee as soon as we arrived.

The beds were comfortable, and I used the upstairs shower, which was excellent with plenty of water pressure.
Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely return the next time we’re in Weymouth.
Just a few small suggestions that might make things even better. The upstairs shower is so powerful that the showerhead tends to jump out of its holder and bang against the bath, which I think may be what’s caused the chips in the bathtub. The sofa in the lounge is quite low, so as someone with a bad back I found it difficult to use, although the armchairs were very comfortable.
The only other issue was parking. I found it quite difficult to find a space on the surrounding streets. I was also a little confused about the parking permits, as there were marked parking spaces directly outside the house that I wasn’t able to use. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay, and I’d happily recommend the property.
