The location was very convenient and the fact that we could park in a locked garage was a bonus. The house itself is well equipped with plenty of towels and extra throws for the beds, which we needed as the weather was chilly last week. There is a plentiful supply of crockery, however, we would have been grateful for some large pasta bowls and a few more egg cups. The bedrooms and bathrooms served our purposes well, but the towel rail in the 1st floor main bathroom wasn’t connected to any power and, with a lack of hooks, we found it was difficult to get our used towels dry. We all enjoyed a few sessions in the hot tub which is in a covered area in the courtyard garden. All in all, we would recommend Sandcastles to families. There is plenty of room for two families of four. Thank you, Simon, for a very nice stay.
