The Barn

This is the second time we’ve stayed at The Barn and won’t be the last, it has everything you need to make a great holiday, it’s situated so that it’s just short drives to most locations and the hot tub is an added bonus.

Debbie is a lovely host who is always around if needed. Highly recommend The Barn and the other 2 adjacent cottages.

Wow, those were the first words out of our mouths, The Barn is amazing both inside and out.

Our family spans three generations and this property was the perfect fit for all of us. It was the perfect base for days out, and the hot tub was a welcome relation on our return. Debbie & Kevin the hosts were very welcoming, and we are looking forward to a return visit in the future.

The Barn was a fantastic place to stay , well equipped kitchen , great having en-suite bedrooms and all the toiletries, plenty of space , we all had a great time, enjoyed the hot tub !

! We had fantastic weather , good to having a garden for the kids to play games , plenty there ,bbq was good thing to have too . Would definitely recommend coming here and hopefully in the future we’ll be back

We absolutely loved our stay at the barn.

Very modern roomy and clean. Facilities were fab! We did unfortunately receive a noise complaint from the cottage next door which was a little annoying as we really weren’t being noisy. Only other thing is we were advised to keep the hot tub topped up at all times to protect the jets, there was an outside tap but no hose that we could see. Which meant filling the mop bucket and doing trips back and forth.

The accomodation at the Barn certainly did not disappoint.

It was so beautifully appointed with high quality fittings, ranging from the stylish bathrooms to the well equipped and spacious open plan living, dining, kitchen area which provided absolutely everything we could need for a wonderful family holiday. The owners, Debbie & Kevin, were very friendly and attentive and nothing was too much bother. We would certainly recommend booking this fabulous holiday home.

We have had a fabulous break at the Barn it was a real home from home and Debbie and Kevin were extremely accommodating and helpful and friendly.

What an absolutely lovely beautiful place to stay in ⭐ What a perfect place for us as a group of friends to stay and celebrate a birthday all together for the weekend.

This place had absolutely everything you need and Debbie came and welcomed us showing us how to use everything, and also what a gorgeous welcome hamper ⭐⭐

The property is beautifully kept with everything you need for a family self catering.

The hot tub was a lovely treat to have too. The owner was so helpful and went out of her way to make sure that we had everything we needed. Great location for exploring Dorset (30mins from Dorchester, 40mins from Weymouth, 20mins from Corfe castle, 20mins from Bovington.

We had a wonderful stay at the Barn.

Everything is tastefully decorated and so well equipped.All of the crockery, utensils, appliances you could ever want. The beds are comfortable, the water pressure in the showers is great and it is so nice having all en suites. So many lovely touches including premium toiletries, robes and towels for the hot tub. Debbie welcomed us and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. I would highly recommend a stay at The Barn.

Wow, what a fantastic property.

The owners have thought of everything and welcomed us when we were settled in. Everything you wanted was there from cooking gadgets to dressing gowns and board games, The property is such a high standard and immaculate and really clean throughout. Loved the rituals products provided in the bathrooms. The owner is so thoughtful and even brought a 60th birthday balloon, which is what we went there to celebrate. Would definitely love to return

The Barn is an ideal property for family holiday.

...thrre were 10 of us staying from ages 5 to 70 and we never felt cramped. The Barn was clean, well equipped and in quiet countryside, not far from village and a great base for exploring Dorset. The owners were hands on and helpful without being intrusive. We had a great week.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by Debbie.

The Barn was spotlessly clean, superbly equipped and in an ideal position. The hot tub and barbecue were well used,which my family all agreed helped to make it a perfect holiday.

Hostess gave us a very warm welcome at the house, and we received a delicious welcome pack. We had a truly enjoyable time, we felt really comfortable as the house fully equipped!!! We will be back !!!!

This is the second time that we have stayed in a property belonging to Debbie and Kevin (we rented Stage Cottage in September 2024) and, as on the first occasion, we were delighted with the accommodation.

The Barn is equipped to a very high standard and is immaculate. You could not ask for more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future. Look out Debbie - you have been warned that we will be back!!!

A wonderful stay, home away from home.

Fully equipped, modern and cosy setting. Welcomed on arrival by Debbie, a wonderful host who ensured we had everything we needed and comfortable over our stay. Spacious living area, hot tub set up on arrival which we jumped into straight away! Gorgeous garden where we spent most of our time with the kids enjoying the space and games available. Perfect location to visit the key landmarks and locations. Will be recommending the Barn to our friends and family for sure! Property exceeded our expectations, making it a wonderful treat.

Absolutely amazing weekend away at The Barn.

Debbie welcomed us on arrival and was so lovely. The Barn was clean and welcoming with lots of games and activities provides.

very well appointed property with flexible accommodation that really suited our large group ranging from 2 to 82 years old.

Debbie was incredibly helpful when called upon and must be commended on the Barn’s fixtures and fittings, not least the Christmas touches.

First class accommodation of an extremely high standard.

Debbie & Kev have thought of & provided everything you could need. The Halloween decorations for the children was a really good touch & much appreciated. The hot tub is an additional bonus. I’d give tthe Barn 6 stars if I could.

Wow what an amazing property.

We had a brilliant stay. The owners had thought of everything - we loved the rituals products, robes, hot tub, garden space, decor and large open plan lounge space for socialising. The kitchen has everything we needed and everything was so clean and tidy. We would love to come back and would 100% recommend. We had the most amazing week stay at the Barn!

The pictures don’t do this place justice. Every detail has been thought of! The barn is luxury high quality standard, the welcome hamper was a lovely added bonus, we all thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, very comfortable beds, a bathroom for each bedroom was an added bonus! Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook for a family of 10. Lots of games for kids and outdoor games. We had great weather as well ! We didn’t want to leave. Thank you so much we will definitely be back!

What a fabulous property in a gorgeous location.

The Barn's facilities are of the highest standard with a brilliantly equipped kitchen, beautiful furnishings, robes in all the rooms, and extra towels for the hot tub.... the hot tub went down a treat with the children. Debbie and Kevin were brilliant hosts who were attentive and approachable, went above and beyond. Lovely stay in beautiful Dorset. Could not have asked for more.

Amazing stay.

All our needs were catered for and the owner checked in to see if we were happy. The communication from the owners definitely help us have such a fantastic stay. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable and the rest of the house was a home away from home.

Our family holiday stay at The Barn was excellent, could not have found a better place.

The area was suitable to some of our party that liked to go walking and us oldies toured by car! Debbie was very welcoming, the facilities were faultless, with the added bonus of a hot tub made our weeks stay a pleasure

We had a lovely time, didn't want to leave! The Barn was immaculate, a real home away from home with everything you could possible need. Superb location, so peaceful and quiet. Lovely garden and hot tub was a real bonus! Highly recommend.

Great stay.

The house is faultless and had everything you needed and more. The hosts gave a great welcome and Easter goodies to help us settle in. The hot tub is amazing and the garden a lovely sun trap even in a wet Easter week. The location is greater with loads to do within 30min drive. Highly recommend the fish and chip van in the village rec carpark on a Thursday!

The Barn is a beautiful property which is luxurious, comfortable and practical.

We were two couples staying there but it’s spacious enough for 4 couples/singles or a couple of large families. Debbie, one of the hosts was attentive and helpful so we felt looked after. The area is lovely with fields, forests and towns with nice pubs (St Peters Finger was our favourite) and restaurants (The Taj in Corfe Mullen did a fab Indian) and cafes (The Barn and The Cow Shed were both nearby and do lovely food). The hot tub was a highlight too!

Really loved the property, it was perfect for what we needed and everything was such high quality.

It's a great space for groups of friends or big family groups. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We're already thinking about coming back next year.

We had a lovely 4 days at The Barn catching up with family.

The property itself was very clean, beautifully presented and had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were very welcoming and on hand if needed. Although The Barn looked lovely in the pictures it did not disappoint in reality. We loved it’s peaceful setting whilst still being close to Bournemouth and the surrounding areas. We chose The Barn partly because of the fact that every room had an en-suite which is unusual in rental properties and because it was all on one level once inside which suited the less mobile in our group. The hot tube was an added bonus. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying there.

The Barn was excellent spacious, comfortable, very clean and well equipped for all our needs.

We had a great time and didn’t want to leave.
