Bayview is a lovely first-floor apartment located in Overcombe, near Preston, in vibrant Dorset.
The seaside holiday home welcomes one well behaved dog and enjoys stunning beach views to admire from the sitting room balcony, making it more than ideal for a joyous family getaway.
Walk across the bridge to enter your new holiday base.
You’re met by the sitting room with two sofas and a large armchair, which is worth squabbling over.
Sink into the seats before flicking on the Smart TV as you become settled in and turn on holiday mode.
When you fancy something to eat, be sure to make the most of the fully fitted-out kitchen.
The electric oven and hobs are there to help you whip up something delicious.
After sitting together at the dining table to eat, make the most of the evening sun on the balcony or in the lawned garden.
Have a drink to cheer as the sunset makes way for the night-time sky.
Once the yawns start spreading, call it a night by having some rest in the king-size or twin room.
Let the kids share some belly laughs to send them to dreamland in the bunk room.
For a morning refresh, use the en-suite shower or the bathroom to start the day well.
A pub is on your doorstep for a beverage or a meal.
There is a local shop a few minutes walk and supermarkets a short drive away you can top up on any essentials.
Weymouth, of course, has plenty of seaside fun with a plethora of beaches available for all the family.
View some sea creatures at the SEA LIFE Centre or go for an idyllic stroll through Lodmoor Country Park.
In the suburb of Rodwell, there are the Alexandra Gardens for kids to fall in love with.
Be sure to check out the Weymouth Pavilion for some entertainment, or feel the need for speed by booking a jet ski to take out on the water.
Slightly further away in Bovington, go and see cheeky animals at Monkey World, view The Tank Museum to bring the kids’ toys to life, or have a walk through the glorious Sculpture by the Lakes botanical garden.

This was our second visit to this lovely property, well positioned for ourselves and our dog to walk on the outlook grass area as there isn’t a garden.
The small balcony is a bonus though. The property is well equipped and generally clean although a bit of TLC wouldn’t go a miss. We will definitely be looking to book again in the near future as we have enjoyed both stays.
Exceeded expectations.
We stayed during the 30° plus heatwave but because of the layout and ventilation we were able to feel comfortable. Having the beach just a few minutes walk away for a cooling dip was the icing on a very enjoyable cake.
The best thing about this property is the amazing sea views and ideal location for easy access to the beach.
We loved seeing the beautiful sea from each room of the property. Particularly the living room with panoramic views and a cute little balcony. Disappointingly the property itself contained a huge amount of dust and cobwebs which we had to hoover and dust away on arrival. The bunk bed is advertised as an adult bunk but I definitely would not recommend. Even my 4 year old found the mattress lumpy! All cleaning products and all cleaning tools including a dirty mop and bucket were left out on show which we did not feel hygienic particularly in kitchen. The tiny garden is really not suitable for dog owners. We enjoyed our stay and walked to Weymouth (40minutes) but there are improvements that could be made to make it even better.
